As far as she could tell, this life was fake. Yet she had the memories of a sister, and they looked so alike. All of it was so confusing. She wasn't really sure what to do with any of it, only that she had to keep up the sweet act. It was a little easier with the family she had here, she did like them. Kol had been walking down the streets. After having run into someone with the same last name as him and the same type of vampire he was it was throwing him for a loop. Maybe he was related to them? Maybe not? He couldn't really tell for sure. He wasn't looking where he was going and he bumped into someone. "So sorry I wasn-" He paused his words when the name just hit him out of nowhere. "Davina?"

"No, but you didn't say that they weren't hiding either, and that is the same thing" alright maybe it wasn't, but that wasn't the point right now. "So which is it?" he asked, though not really expecting an answer. It was just entertaining at this point.

"Aye, it usually is" that he knew all too well. Things that kept him awake at night, that were disappearing further and further into the past. "That doesn't always change the effect it has on us, if we want it to or not. Can only move forward by learning from the past" although what he was meant to learn from the dragon, he wasn't sure.

.｡.:*☆ The other was not exactly wrong, even when El hated to admit it. She was quick to judge people, still clueless about some things life outside the labs did throw towards her, and surely not good at making friends.

"Okay," She glanced at the other. An apology would surely be helpful, but El felt whatever she might say would sound pathetic. "The explain to me... please?" She needed to be at least a little nicer here for this to work out. "Because so far it does not make any semnse to me whatsoever."
