In the first photo, I had just met you a few weeks prior, and you spent the first six months calling me Ms. Kaye to my chagrin.😂 By our most recent photo at the end (which, by the way, isn’t recent at all—my hair was still short!) you’re one of my baby girls who I can lean on, who I’ve been through life’s ups and downs with, and who has accepted me without judgment, flaws and all. I think it helps that I feed you good food too! 😄 (Which reminds me: as soon as this lockdown is over I’m gonna make you my triple chocolate cake again. No tears or heartbreak required!😉) . I met you at a time when I was only beginning to learn the importance of choosing the type of people and the type of energy you allow into your life.
