On this day in history: #WalkoutPH We walk out to rise against the fascist government that has sponsored killings without due process or fair trial, that has demonized indigenous peoples, that has enforced crippling laws that only benefit the rich political clans while attacking the poorest in the country, that has censored critics in media while unqualified political friends sit in power…and the list goes on.
We have had enough. This country belongs to the people. The government does not own the Philippines, the president does not own the Philippines. This country belongs to the people.
