Tonight's #bathtimerecord is the last album that Red Hot Chili Peppers made with Hillel Slovak before his untimely death. The Uplift Mofo Party Plan is the quintessential 80s Chilli Peppers album. They perfected their Funk Punk sound here. Every track a bouncing party anthem of slap bass, spiky guitars, head nodding drums and anthemic vocals. They tried (and in some ways succeeded) to replicate this sound on Mothers Milk but that album just isn't as sleak as this one.
