For #dessert today, I walked a few doors down #ValleyRd in #UpperMontclair, #NJ to #illaboratoriodelgelato @icecreamlab and WOW! It was astonishing. They make everything themselves and offer traditional flavors as well as exotic ones like cucumber and rosemary. I ended up choosing fior di latte, coconut, banana and dark chocolate bourbon. Every single one was special. I also tasted their ube and it was outrageously good. Had a delightful and delicious #lunch at @SLAThai_ in #UpperMontclair #NJ today. This is their sliced beef salad and a northern #Thai specialty featuring pork belly and short ribs in a curry paste — both were prepared perfectly and full of flavor. They have a lovely alfresco seating area in a quaint, nicely decorated alley directly next to the restaurant, too.
