July 1968. 'It's free! It's easy! This funny, little Upsy-Daisy that can drive a plain old hairdo crazy.'
It seems that over the years I’ve become more twisted. Managed to sort myself into Slytherin instead of my usual Ravenclaw
(usarmy): Upsy-Daisy (hehehe)
Rachael wasn’t sure of what just occurred.
One moment, the female was sitting down, working along in her usual distracted state, dismantling and rebuilding mechanical equipment compulsively. The next thing she knew, the redhead was suddenly uprooted, her equipment clacking against the pale tiles of her floor. Naturally, Rachael had yelped in surprise, evidently not suspecting this intrusion, but quickly she managed to recognize who her culprit was.
You bloody green git.
She glared angrily at the man with an aggressive huff, certainly not pleased by this development. If one thing was certain, the female did not take kindly to being lifted up–less so when it was unannounced.
“Michael, you have 30 seconds to put me down, or so Anwen help me I’ll…“ she trailed off as she squirmed about for escape. Granted, if Michael dropped her, Rachael would hit face first onto a slick and hard floor of cleanly tiles, but the female didn’t really care.
“It is incredibly rude to pick a lady up without her permission first. You’re bloody lucky I don’t have my pistols on me right now, or you’d probably have a clean bullet through that thick skull of yours.” Rachael proceeded to rant, amber eyes flashing with perceived annoyance.
“I was working on something very important. Now, if you’d just let me go…”
If you just let me go, your face will meet the other end of my wrench.
She kept that bit back though. The female was angry, but that didn’t necessarily entailed being rude. He was, by right, a guest in her house.
Though, a very impolite one. Not even knocking…He just barges right in. I ought to give him a what for.
If there were two things in this world that could get such a well-composed woman riled up, it would be picking her up unexpectedly…
Or worse yet, touching her weapons without permission.
You pick your crime, and you deserve whatever Fate had in store for you, which usually included a physical impairment. Punching or slapping, depending on the circumstances.
Getting hit by her wrench was a warranted assault, so Rachael stopped threatening people with it verbally.
Her amber eyes narrowed. “You’re really thinning my patience here…”
((I love how this implies that Rachael smacked people with her wrench before, and she somehow got arrested for it. Like, why would you even do that Rache.))
