[caption id="attachment_754" align="alignright" width="300" caption="Learn how to draw at the Drawing From Master class with Ian O'Brien."][/caption] Learn to draw. Some are born with the talent to draw and others learn over time. Then there are some that just need those classes that teach you how to draw. For those of you who want to learn to draw, artist Ian O’Brien can teach you. You can lean the variety of techniques and improve your drawing skills. O’Brien is a master illustrator but he is able to teach all levels of experience—even beginners. He will use the Meadows Museum’s permanent collection to take you through the steps of drawing. The Drawing from Masters class is for adults and students 15 years and older on Sunday (May 1). Drawing materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own sketch pad and pencil. By the end of the class you should have an idea of how to draw and then you can head to the store and get a frame to admire your masterpiece. It could also be a perfect present for Mother’s Day. The class is first come, first serve and it will be in the Meadows Museum on Sunday (May 1). Call 214.768.4677 to reserve your space today. photo credit: shawncampbell on flickr
