imagine: A victim of rape going to a hypnotherapist. thinking it'll help them get over their trauma. imagining............................. i actually love this a looooooot lot lot lot, just full and total manipulation on every front. especially if the victim feels uneasy or like something might be wrong between sessions, but as soon as they're back in the room that all just goes away, any doubtful thoughts just vanishing before they can even realize it's happening
i also love the idea that the therapist has the power to let the facade fall and fully retraumatize the victim whenever they want<3 that's a fun thing for someone else to hold
