TYSM idk what to talk abt im just gonna start talking ok so THE ANIMATION.. THE ANIMATION.. IT IS SO NICEEE i think like the reason a lot of ppl (myself included) saw promare in the first place was cuz of the animation i saw a trailer for it like monthss b4 it had its us theater premiere like thestart of 2019 i think and i was thinking OO THIS IS FUN ANIMATION and then when i saw it was showing in like september or whatever i knew NOTHING abt it i just wanted to go watch it cuz it looked like itd be pretty and a fun time. AND I WAS RIGHT IT WAS AWESOME idk the proper terms for like fight scenes but the galo and lio first fight scene was so like well boarded it was like exciting choreography all the angles n shots they use r rly like aesthetically pleasing and NICE and FUN and paired w the music and the drama of it all it rly gets u PUMPED UP!! idk if someone will get to it b4 me but when i have the dvd i rly wanna post certain scenes that r like that that r just RLY nice to watch.. lio dragon rampage is another one WOOO that animation is SO nice. im not super into mech fights tho i love mechs but galo and lios mech was rly cool too and everything w it was rly well animated the lio de galon vs krazor x fight was dragged on a little 2 me but thats just cuz kray was there n i hate that guy. what does krazor x mean anyway i feel like its some anime reference or something if galo was the one making it but idk what it means. anyway the animation was always so stellar esp after they fixed some of it up for the dvd release, i like their use of 2d and 3d combined it looks cool! i like how simplistic the 3d is at times and other times it has a lot of detail its interesting.. the staff said in an interview at one point if theyd had a bigger budget theyd have wanted it to look more like into the spiderverse so i gotta imagine what THAT couldve been like but it looks rly great as is.. and i love how a lot of the slower scenes r animated stuff is just VERY nice trigger is good w animation even if i havta raise my eyebrows at some of the things they do w their past work u know the animations always gonna b hella. ANYWAY IM GONNA CUT MYSELF OFF HERE CUZ I WILL RLY JUST GO ON FOREVER ABT ALL THIS TYSM FOR ASKING FDGHBH

IM ALREADY GONNA BREAK THE RULES AND LIST MULTIPLE SONGS BC THERE ARE... A LOT OF GOOD ONES. 

for dbz songs in the actual anime, vegeta’s super saiyan theme(/hells bells?) has always been a fave because it sounds Fucking Cool & also the braveheart’s triumphant return just bc it always played at the BEST goku scenes and fills me w the specific feeling of being like 7 and watching goku appear on namek to beat the ginyus asses after everything.... 

for openings dan dan kokoro hikareteku will always be my fave, gt is of questionable quality but it has a special place in my heart, for endings zenkai power CAN’T be beat, for movies its DEFINITELY gogeta vs broly!

for games my fave opening is prob super survivor and music-in-the-game-wise my favorite is the meteor!

🔥 its been literally years since i read warriors but...hollyleaf mayb?

HOLLYLEAF IS ONE OF MY FAVES.. i have written essays abt her but for an unpopular opinion i think i will say that while the real life reasons for her not having a power r dumb (killed off cuz they couldnt think of anything.. amazing) and while i dont think it rly makes that much sense that she doesnt have a power when her brothers do, i do think its rly important to her character that she doesnt have a power. feeling disconnected from her siblings and feeling powerless r some of the things that lead her to making some very poor choices, like for example, murder. ashfur deserved it but yknow. still breaking the code in a major way which for her was rly a sign of how messed up she was over all of it. 

anyway she didnt rly think she could rely on anyone her world was shattered. her birth broke two codes, one which she’d built her whole life around respecting and trusting and relying on completely, and at least her brothers had these powers that kinda implied they were chosen or blessed by starclan, but hollyleaf didnt have any of that. i think her feeling worthless in that way lead in part to her later decisions. it wasnt just envy at them being ‘special’ and her not having this thing that sets her apart (and again and again throughout the series hollyleaf talks about wanting to be special.. not having powers was a blow) idk where im going with this rly i just have a lot of thoughts abt hollyleaf and her siblings having powers while she doesnt and how that influenced her decisions. 

on the other hand i do like seeing what powers ppl give her in aus! i just think shes better off without them. for a lot of reasons. but thats a whole other long post fbgh ty for asking!
