The official Sony giveaway gives you a two in one code for the PlayStation miniS titles: Urbanix and Jewel Keepers: Easter Island. The games are playable on the PS3, PS Vita and PSP. I've never tried either game, but I won't turn down a free lunch.

Wii and the Kid Demo Die or Buy: "Urbanix"

This week we were blessed with a demo of Zombie Panic in Wonderland and cursed with yet another lackluster Wiiware waste of time, Urbanix by Nordcurrent. This title comes in at $5 and I wouldn't pay 9 cents for it. The demo gives you 2 levels to play at 2 minutes each. No real tutorial or explanation of gameplay at all. You're just dropped into the level where you drive around in squares and build a town. You pick up powerups not really sure of what they are doing. Developers need to realize that these demos are a real opportunity to get the gamer engaged. You don't have to give away a ton of content, but at least pack enough content into the demo to give the gamer a chance to get into the game. 2 minutes of a level won't make a connection with most players. This game could be fun, but I'll never know. Not enough content to make me interested in spending 5 bucks on this. Urbanix is definitely one to pass on. Big Die on this one!!!
