BMW Isetta spiaggia Custom Roadster

This model has been modified in the style of a spiaggina custom roadster with the removal of the roof, sealing of the front door, and installation of a wicker bench seat, and it was acquired by the current owner in 2021.

Finished in orange and white, the car is powered by a 298cc single paired with a four-speed manual transaxle.

It also features a low windscreen, chrome-finished bumpers, dual side mirrors, 10″ wheels, and a rear parcel shelf with luggage straps.

The microcar was built under license in Germany from April 1955 to 1962.

There have been numerous attempts to revive the Iso marque since its demise in 1974. In 1999, Zagato presented the IsoCity, a gull-winged quadricycle, at the Geneva Motor Show. The IsoCity was powered by a 500cc two-cylinder engine but plans to produce the tiny urban runabout came to nothing.
