Urban Reef 2014

Urban Reef is the winning submission to the 2014 Robson Redux Design-Build competition. This competition invites emerging and professional designers to submit their design ideas for turning Robson Street into a pedestrian place.

The designed intent of Urban Reef is to invite people to sit, relax, and play. Its sculptural form is made from a series of sections that morph into one another, to create a dynamic quality that sparks curiousity and invites exploration. The design was created by Kaz Bremner, Jeremiah Deutscher, and Higher Works Ltd.
