This custom transaction counter was designed in collaboration with the creative direction of /017 Shop.  The outward mirror faces and acrylic countertop wrap around custom cabinetry that is tailored to suit the necessary functions of their retail store.

Great Northern Way Apartment Renovation (2015)

This complete Vancouver apartment overhaul was a fun yet challenging project.

It all began with the teardown and removal of the dilapidated kitchen and bathroom. The final product is a bright, modern and sophisticated space with a newly updated kitchen, bathroom and living space. Its specifications include new kitchen cabinets, plumbing, appliances and countertops. In the bathroom we installed new marble tile, plumbing, a vanity and toilet. New track lighting was added in the front hallway, kitchen and dining area and a double wide bi-fold door was installed in the bedroom closet. Finally, the entire unit was cleanly outfitted with new baseboard and a coat of Cloud White paint to tie it all together.

Neon by Cressey: Lobby Wall Paneling 2015

For this project we were contracted to build and install custom wall paneling for the lobby of the Neon Building in downtown Vancouver. The scope of work called for the panels to span floor-to-ceiling and to wrap around the main entrance corridor. A precise installation was key to this project as we had to maintain consistent 1/2″ reveals while spanning each wall.

Sterling by Cressey: Presentation Center 2015

For this project, we were contracted to outfit the Sterling presentation center with custom millwork. The scope of work included a custom model table, a sample-display table, and a floating credenza for the closing office. Each piece was custom fabricated, professionally finished, and built-in onsite.

Urban Reef 2014

Urban Reef is the winning submission to the 2014 Robson Redux Design-Build competition. This competition invites emerging and professional designers to submit their design ideas for turning Robson Street into a pedestrian place.

The designed intent of Urban Reef is to invite people to sit, relax, and play. Its sculptural form is made from a series of sections that morph into one another, to create a dynamic quality that sparks curiousity and invites exploration. The design was created by Kaz Bremner, Jeremiah Deutscher, and Higher Works Ltd.

RK Table 2015

This custom coffee table was designed and built for a new client. We were able to take the specifications given to us and refine them to a subtle, contemporary profile to suit our client’s aesthetic and budget. The materials are Hard Maple and steel coated in black enamel.

Semlin Kitchen 2015

This extensive kitchen renovation was completed in collaboration with D. Gregg Brown Architect Inc. 

This project began with a complete teardown of the previous kitchen and demolition of the dividing wall between the kitchen and living room. The final product is an open-concept dining, living and kitchen area. Its specifications include custom cabinetry, solid surface countertops, under-cabinet LED lighting, LED track lighting, custom Rift Oak lower cabinet drawer fronts and doors, and frosted glass and aluminum upper cabinet doors.
