urethral triplication does fall under the urethral duplication umbrella, but wanted to make a separate flag anyway. i found out that i have urethral triplication and i havent even really met anyone with even duplicate urethras, so i made this in hopes people like me feel less alone as sappy as it sounds lol. the darker colors on the outside of both flags represent deviation from the norm. the middle colors of each flag represents the duplication and triplication of said norm. the inner colors of both represent bodily acceptance. the blues being duplication and purple being triplication respectively

these flags are for people who bodily have urethral duplication and triplication exclusively, radqueers this is not a flag for you. please contact me before adding to any wikis

i found out i had urethral triplication recently and i feel its important that i talk about it. i made a post joking about it but online resources say the amount of cases is <15. i do not think it is true.

igm, manufactured rareness, and the habit doctors have of dismissing people/telling them its normal as it pertains to intersex bodies aside, the only info i saw available was where the urethras were all in vastly different places. obviously this is more likely to be noticed and taken seriously by doctors but this was not the case for me and i feel also not the case for a lot of other people with this variation that dont know of it. i also dont really feel like ill even be believed by doctors if i did bring it up because of its rarity, when its literally something you can look at and see on my body with your own two eyes. hell, im scared to check myself again because im scared i was just making it all up and i couldnt possibly have it due to its rarity.

currently there are no resources or information availible for the way it presents on my body. it sucks! seeing an already rare variation and then none of whats there online matching your circumstance is incredibly isolating and scary. a large part of my acceptance and learning to be comfortable in my own body is learning i wasnt alone. seeing other intersex people like me and knowing theres people out there in my situation was incredibly comforting. but in this case all info i have points towards me being alone in this. it makes me feel like a freak and its rough. but im attempting to find acceptance regardless
