Your post about shinigami eyes is very appreciated as a system who has experienced many transfeminine members being marked as green, and transmasculine and nonbinary members marked as red, despite no difference in reblogs or stance on trans individuals. We keep it downloaded primarily out of interest, and the trends in marking POC red wasn't something we had noticed, so that is quite appreciated as well! :) Best of luck, and well wishes to you and your system.

i would suggest doing more research into it as well because theres a lot of things not covered by my one singular post about it. like black people talking about being alienated from trans spaces due to being black and being marked red for that as well. at the end of the day im some white guy trying to bring awareness to stuff and if you want to do more research its best to listen to firsthand experiences by people of color.

for those out there who feel like their dissociation 'isn't enough' and feel like they're faking because of it, hey. maybe it's because you lived your entire life with this experience and got too used to it. but here's the thing, dissociation isn't just 'suddenly blacking out and having no memory of the entire past day' no matter how much its painted as that. not all dissociation is sharp and obvious.

forgetting passwords, forgetting names and people, forgetting your dreams, having too vivid dreams, insomnia, brain fog, face blindness, remembering your days like a blur, struggling to remember your schedule, school/work day gone too fast, forgetting to eat, forgetting to drink, derealization, depersonalization can all be caused by dissociation. i know its hard to accept but it is, just because you don't black out doesn't mean you don't dissociate; if you sit on your computer stopping for a second doubting your password or if you wake up feeling like that was a trainwreck of a dream then suddenly it stops being visible is caused by dissociation. if you're awake, looking around but having the feeling that something with the existence of the surroundings is wrong is also dissociation. if you suddenly remember that you forgot to eat that day, that you forgot to drink that day, the time is 3 am and even though you never blacked out and you were always there, is still dissociation.

if you grew too used to constantly living these little things, then you are probably ignoring your symptoms. so please stop the doubting. you're not fake, your dissociation is real, your amnesia is real and you are not lying. please remember this. you are a system, and it's okay to dissociate. it's not your fault.

i am very out of the loop with syscourse (thankfully) but it is kind of interesting how the general sentiment last i checked went from "DID can form without trauma" to "DID cant be formed without trauma but there are other ways to be plural without trauma" unless what im seeing isnt the more widely accepted stance within endo neutral/pro spaces. i dont have any opinions on this at all and i dont care what you call urself i just find it interesting. the former stance is also something i saw like 6 years ago

I'm very disappointed to see that transgender people are still going around lying about being intersex to avoid outing themselves.

I can't stop people from doing it but I can warn you, telling someone you have an "intersex disorder" doesn't automatically stop the invasive questions or discrimination. It may work occasionally in the same vein as people who are more trans accepting may not ask invasive questions but it isn't a "step up."

You're frankly benefiting from a group of people who are also seen as "failed cis people" but who also experience medical treatment done not for their comfort and desires but for the comfort and desires for cisgender perisex folk. Genital mutilation, hormone therapy, all of it, many intersex folk experience non consensual or downright coercive "correction" of their bodies.

Except in this situation you're benefiting from idea that intersex people just need treatment to be "fixed" without experiencing years of medical discrimination and treatment done against your will.

Intersex experiences and bodies are not people who have a "leg up" if they choose to transition (and it's not always hormone related, intersex bodies are diverse). I've had chest hair and a happy trail pre testosterone, it didn't suddenly expand and sprout super quickly on testosterone, and all it got me was bullying and poor treatment.

There's more to the experience of intersex folk than you realize because you're not intersex. Learn more about intersex experiences from intersex people, please.

if you use shinigami eyes i am going to assume you are racist before i assume anything else, full stop. and others should too. theres a lot to be said about the problem with intersex people speaking about their experiences, and trans men as well. but the amount of black users or otherwise racialized people speaking about their experiences with being both a person of color and trans and the intersection between these two things having them be marked red because of it. if you use shinigami eyes you are racist and are contributing towards the othering of our siblings of color in our community. you need to start caring about this too instead of only the sentiments against intersex and transmasc people

and before anyone says "maybe this will make people ashamed to use it" while its true its not the main point of the post. you need to uplift your queer siblings of color more than you need to shame racists. if all you care about is people not using SE youre doing it wrong. make an effort to not only push away racists but include people of color and make them feel safe
