Ursula X. Young

Ursula Young is a talented artist in the arts community of Bay Area, Nevada County and beyond. You will find her art in many places, from murals in San Francisco neighborhoods, to print and graphic media, and especially in people’s homes. She finds inspiration in the organic and colorful landscapes of San Francisco and can often be recognized by the wide-eyed urban fairy muses depicted in her imagery. 

Originating from Northern England, Ursula has spent much of her time since then traveling and has studied art in New York City, Florence, Vermont, Oslo, and London. After ten years in San Francisco where she is still does a great deal of her work, she’s now local to Grass Valley, California and can be found displayed in local galleries and shops. 

Ursula X. Young will be doing live painting on Sunday during the morning in the Upper Gallery. Come visit her booth to see this remarkable artist in action and pick up some of her latest work. So happy to have her at our next Nevada City Craft Fair! December 11th at Miners Foundry 10-6
