Me seeing that one post talking about how polls are W R O N G and we need to get out to vote: YES, we should all vote, YES polls can be inaccurate, but they aren't half as bad as YOU seem to think and also current polls put Biden at 81% which is substantially higher and also the country is fucking furious at Trump in a way that we have literally never seen before and also a number of senate races are trending Democratic because of Trump's inability to so much as pretend to have the barest drops of empathy and also I just find these ideas of "everything's the same as 2016 but WORSE and on FIRE" as really fucking exhausting.
Go vote! But know the country IS repelled!
Some things you can do if you're in a blue state and your moderate senator is wishing condolences: call and tell them you want them to abolish the filibuster and expand the courts. If Ed fucking Markey is on the record, we can get Ben Cardin and Amy Klobuchar to do the same.
Look, I get that people keep talking about how Trump was the big winner of the debates, but I don’t actually a) believe that the democratic party needs reminding that Trump’s bad, we know; b) want the first time that a democratic nominee faces actual vitriol on a stage to be when facing Trump; c) think the whole “we’re sugar and spice and everything nice” shtick is a great political message
