A late morning drive through the Pacific Northwest. Pt 2
A. and B. The Mighty Pacific Ocean at Long Beach, WA
C. At the entrance to the Public Accessway at Long Beach, WA
D. On US 101, heading North out of Long Beach, WA.
E. and F. Raymond, WA on the Willipa River
I. Pullout off US 12, for a scenic overlook of the Chehalis River outside Aberdeen, WA.
J. Never-Used Nuclear Power Plant cooling tower outside, Elma, WA
And this concludes the tour. Two things. First, I will be posting more from the Kurt Cobain Memorial. Secondly, the Nuclear Power Plant facilities never received any plutonium as the project ran out of money before it was completed, so there are no actual radition hazards. According to what I had read, it was more cost effective to leave it as it than demolish it. I hope it stays.
