Dear LGBTQIA+ (especially enbys) USA fellows, I don’t know what the hell Trump is doing or what he is going to do, but you’re strong and you’ll survive this. I wanna hug you all so so so bad. It’s gonna be okay, we’ll get through this!

why don't i ever see domestic violence talked about as an avenue of voter suppression? when i canvassed for the Harris campaign, there were a LOT of registered republicans who wouldn't let me speak to their independently registered wives. I've seen past propaganda about it but this is very much still happening today
basically the vote is about Americans not being masochists or being...
I don't usually get political here because I want my blog to be a happy place and a sort of a relaxing escape from the real world.
But to all my American friends, mutuals, anyone... God, I am so sorry. If anyone wants to vent, my DMs are open. Stay strong, keep in touch with people you can trust, move if you can/have to.
I don't really know what to say, words are hard, but know that people outside feel and fear and mourn for you. You're not alone.
Drink water, don't lose hope.

Image Description: [a tweet by Dan Rather] VERY IMPORTANT. PLEASE SHARE WIDELY. There is no longer really voting by mail in many states. If you haven’t sent in your ballot, it is likely too late for it to count. Find other options ASAP. Drop it off. Vote in person. This is a great resource. If you are in the USA, can vote, and haven't voted yet...vote.
Vote like your life depends on it.
Because for someone, it does.
PSA to USA voters: to avoid long lines at the polls, look up early voting in your state. This will take you to your state's elections information site where you can check all voting dates and venues as well as your voter registration.
I usually participate in early voting because I'm a mess at schedules, hate lines, and the early voting process provides an extra week to cast your ballot.
In light of news that long lines in states like Texas made it difficult for many young people to cast their primary vote, please take advantage of the early voting in your state.
Thank you.
