I just had the coolest experience with these photos that I had to share! First of all I think this image is so cool and an great campaign that aims to shift the perception of women to show their amazing strength. I don’t think it is wrong to wear a dress, but I think this is a reminder of how powerful a woman can be.
I came across the first image (in English) just a few days ago online in the lead up to International Woman’s Day. Today as I was scrolling through my Facebook I came across the second image (in Spanish) posted by a Spanish friend of mine who I met while studying abroad last spring in Granada. I know that today is named “International” Woman’s Day but this was such tangible and striking proof that these topics really are being discussed around the world and are making a difference everywhere. Couldn’t resist sharing my personal experience with International Woman’s Day!
