Yeah there's like 50 different Linux desktop environments but if you're a sane person there's only 2 real options.
KDE users be like "Windows sucks" and then their favorite desktop environment is the one that looks exactly like Windows 10.
Tried everything to make Kubuntu work. Managed to get it to show up with shift+10, but a reboot showed the black screen again.
I'm just going to return to Windows 10. This was very disappointing.
Should had been using Linux..
*grabs ur shoulders desperately* hELP which distribution of Linux do I choose???? I have a windows and I really want a better operating system but I have no technological literacy and don't know where to start!
Ohh!! I would suggest Ubuntu, it's well maintained and pretty easy to get going. You'll probably want to dual boot windows and linux, there should be some good tutorials out there to do so.
Most Linux things can be found with a Google search, the only thing I would warn against is using the sudo command on stuff you don't know what it does.
Tldr: Ubuntu is an easy distro, and you should dual boot until you know what you're doing
someone in the dystopian cyberpunk surveillance future of 2035 probably: buy a vpn nigga LMAO!!
Of course you can play video games on a Linux PC. We have:
Every boomer shooter via source ports
Basically every emulator
Morrowind via openmw
That's basically every game that matter.
