a very conservative argument from both of you. the whole "don't like? don't read." thing as a means of shutting down any and all discussions related to potentially harmful rhetoric is very reminiscent of the whole "don't like it? just leave the country." advice that conservatives give to marginalized Americans. not to say that you are speaking of the same thing, but your understanding of the concept is clearly just as underdeveloped.

the internet is not your private diary. your anonymity here tells me that you at least understand that much. once again, freedom of speech does not mean you get to say whatever you want without consequences. it just means that you get to say whatever you want. I get to reply to it with my own opinion. we are in a public space, it should be well understood that if people find a problem with what you are saying they absolutely get to tell you that.

if you keep sending me half-assed anon asks you will not be getting any replies. I have blocked her, and I suggest that she block me as well because I get to say whatever I want just like she does. go argue with any of the other people who are still trying to get her to see some sense. I'm done.
