Buffy/Carmilla Possible Parallel

Okay, so the only (kinda at the least) healthy vampire/human relationships I can think of (outside fanfiction) are Bangel (Buffy/Angel), Spuffy(Spike/Buffy), and Hollstein. This (somehow) led me to realize that Hollstein might be doomed if Laura doesn't get turned into a vampire or Carmilla into a human, because they have the type of relationship where they CAN'T JUST BE FRIENDS, HELL THEY CAN'T EVEN BE AROUND EACH OTHER WITHOUT THEIR LOVE RIPPING AT THEIR INSIDES.
