little kacchan who is fascinated with all things green:
dinosaur drawings
green crayons, markers, pencils, etc
plants (especially leaves which he will tug off of trees and stare at it or give it to his Zuzu!)
green stop lights (if he sees one walking down the street he'll point it out to anyone who will listen and then pout when it turns yellow and red)
there was one time where Izuku had brought a house plant from his mother's house and he hadn't realized just how little Kacchan had been until he had to rush from his bathroom to stop the boy from popping a vibrant leaf into his mouth. luckily he was just in time
Of course, he'd been a little pouty about it at first — Kacchan always has a lot of emotions when regressed and he doesnt always know how to express them, so pouting is his default — but then Izuku explained to him that leaves could potentially hurt him if he ate them. Kacchan understood.
And then, cue his panic the next time he regresses and Izuku tries to eat a salad around him.
//I also wrote something about little!kacchan being obsessed with Izuku's green hair
// this is my own little ficlet, teehee, I was going to write a list of headcanons and then it kept growing, so I might just make this a lil' mini series or something :)
Katsuki gets a recliner in his room during their second year and it becomes Izuku's favorite spot. He sits in it more than Katsuki does.
Whenever they hang out, whenever he needs a break, or just whenever he feels like it. It is to the point where Katsuki gives him a copy of his room key just so that he can sit down when Katsuki isn't there (that loser is the only person the blond would ever trust to have unfiltered access to his room).
Most of the time he only goes in there when Katsuki is already there, so there isn't much anxiety around handing over the key anyway.
And when Katsuki is in a terrible mood and isn't up for company, or if Izuku has had an especially overwhelming day, he will go in with his favorite headphones and just listen to music or play his switch while sitting in the chair. The two of them won't say a word and just co-exist, breathing in the same air, and find solace in each other. They can do this for hours.
Izuku will occasionally breathe too heavily because he was so focused on his music or game (or whatever it is that he is focusing on) that he will forget how to work his lungs. Sometimes Katsuki will bark at him for it or throw a pillow at him, but most of the time it is harmless.
Then there are times when will sway back and forth while he zones in on his homework so much that he actually knocks his water bottle off of the bed and the crash startles Izuku so much the boy yelps. After a second they both laugh at the hilarity of it and then go back to doing what they had been doing.
It is chill. It is just them being themselves.
Katsuki will usually sit on his bed or at his desk. And before the chair, Izuku either sat at his desk or on the floor (because even though Kacchan never said anything, it was obvious that he hated when people sat on his bed without him inviting them to do so first), so when the recliner showed up Izuku took that spot so fast Katsuki barely had a chance to try it out.
And perhaps that had been the blond's goal: get Izuku a comfy place to sit that wasn't the floor.
Inko almost crying when she comes home and finds her son and Katsuki Bakugo asleep on the living room couch with what looks like the second All Might movie's credits rolling.
Their large, third-year bodies sinking in her cushions and falling off the poor piece of furniture, and their heads lulled together in sleep, nearly breathing the same air.
It is finally over, she sighs to herself with a fond smile. The bullying that her son lied to her about, the rivalry, the hatred, the tears— it is all finally over.
Seeing them together like this, a mirror image of how they used to be as kids (the two of them were very sleepy children and loved to cuddle each other), gave her an overwhelming sense of joy.
Her heart is full because her boys are friends again.
It's been years and they are finally back. And yes, they are her boys. Just like the two of them are Mitsuki Bakugo's boys as well. They were together so much as kids that the two mothers practically raised them together.
And if Inko, once her tears have stopped streaming, goes and calls the other mother, a woman she talked to less and less as their sons worked out their differences but whose contact she never lost, to retell how she found the two of them. Mitsuki demands a picture and so Inko sneaks back down to the living room again.
A little while later, when the two wake up (blushing hard when they realized that they had once again gravitated toward each other in their sleep), Inko pretends nothing is wrong and they are both grateful.
They also don't acknowledge how it is the best sleep they have gotten in a little while, even if their necks are a little sore from the awkward angle of the couch.
And two weeks later, when Mitsuki calls up to Katsuki that dinner is ready and both her boys come down the stairs, it isn't an unpleasant surprise to the Bakugo parents. They just set aside another plate and strike up a conversation with Izuku as they do their own son.
Nothing is amiss and they love getting to re-know the boy they helped raise as a young child.

Katsuki and Izuku finding their synchronicity after they get together takes some time.
After their second Official Date, Izuku walks Katsuki to his dorm and, like they had done most of the night, held hands the whole way. They hadn't told any of the other kids in their class yet, but they weren't exactly keeping quiet about it either. It didn't really matter what people thought or who knew, the only people they wanted to tell was their parents, something they'd be doing this upcoming weekend at a joint family dinner that they had planned.
Anyways, Izuku walks Katsuki to his door — something they had only argued about briefly — and while the shorter teen waited about three seconds for Katauki to unlock his door, he blurted out: "Can I kiss you?"
Katsuki drops his keys entirely. "What?"
"What?" Izuku asks, taking half a step back. "Do you not want to—"
The blond is quick to shut that self conscious track down really fast. "No, I have been dying to kiss you, but.. I don't want you to kiss me. I want to do it."
Izuku, feeling the oh-so-familiar flair of competitiveness that will most likely never go away no matter what their relationship evolves into (not that he would want it any other way), levels Katsuki with a low-brow stare. Ignoring the fact that he has to look up to make eye contact, Izuku crosses his arms over his chest and doesn't look away.
Seeming to remember his keys, Katsuki looks away first and bends down to pick them up. They don't mention the blush tainting the sides of his neck when he straightens up.
"I just thought, you know, that I would be the one to kiss you."
It isn't phrased like a question, it doesn't sound like a question, but Izuku knows that Katsuki is searching for an answer by the way his bright red eyes bound back and forth across Izuku's face.
"Why does it matter?" Izuku asks earnestly.
He gets a shrug in response.
After a second or two of neither of them saying anything, Katauki decides to finally unlock his door and he takes a tentative step inside.
Izuku, still not over the want to kiss his boyfriend, follows him so they're still standing next to each other. "Will you not let me kiss you then?"
Katsuki's eyes widen for just a second before his familiar scowl is back, "I said I wanted to do it."
Izuku makes an exasperated noise and his arms come up for a second only to slam back down to his sides. He isn't actually upset or irritated at all, he just finds Katsuki's antics a little amusing sometimes. He likes to act a bit huffy sometimes because it gets on Katsuki's nerves (obviously nothing he would use in a serious situation).
So he can't help but push a little, confident that he knows the other boy enough to know when to back off. "And you still haven't given me a reason why it matters."
"Because it just does—"
Izuku's grin widens a little at Katsuki's obvious struggle, something vicious flares up in his chest and he feels the euphoria of having this strange hold over Katsuki. It fuels the confidence he needs to push out his next line, "so do it."
It is Katsuki's turn to take a step back, further into his room, and Izuku follows him. The door closes behind the green-haired-boy and the air between them gets thicker. Izuku feels his pulse spike in the best kind of way. Something about being in such a charged environment alone with Kacchan has his body reacting like this.
"I— uh," Katsuki says smartly. He looks around wildly as if he cannot hold Izuku's gaze.
Which is crazy because where did Izuku's usually confident Kacchan go? One who looked danger in the eye and barely blinked, let alone stare down at his feet in submission.
It fanned an all-consuming flame inside of Izuku. He loved this feeling, could already feel himself growing addicted.
For tonight, though, he decides to back off. He raises his hands in the air in mock surrender and looks down at the ground himself, watching in his peripheral as Katsuki’s head snaps back up. Katsuki only stutters when he feels backed into a corner, so Izuku caves tonight.
He does give the blond an ultimatum.
"I will back off tonight, and I am sorry for springing it on you like this," he starts with, reaching out to take one of Katsuki's lethal hands in his. Kacchan's hands are so soft, Izuku thinks pleasantly, running his thumb along the line of knuckles on the back of his hand. "However," he draws it out, waiting until they are making eye contact once more to finish, "if you don't kiss me by the end of the third date, Kacchan, the fourth one will end with me sweeping you off of your feet."
Katsuki's sharp inhale is subtle, and if it were anyone else in the room besides Izuku it would have gone unnoticed.
"You're serious."
"Extremely," Izuku agrees. "I want that kiss, Kacchan."
○●○●○●○
Their third date is scheduled to take place in two days. It is a Friday. They're going to dinner and then going roller skating at a rink they had found while on patrol for Endeavor's agency. Izuku had said he'd never been and Katsuki said if they did that he'd "wipe the floor with his nerd ass" so naturally, they planned the date.
Their dinner is just going to be an American-themed burger and fry joint about a block from the rink and then they were going to end the night by taking the train back to UA. It is the first night off they've had in a while and Izuku can't help but think it is time well spent.
And their date does go so well. The food is pleasant, although Izuku is very verbal about how Kacchan's cooking is better, and roller skating is fun!
Katsuki does try to tease his boyfriend a little bit at first when Izuku can't figure out how to balance or accelerate very well in the bulky boots-with-wheels. But then the blond comes up behind him and guides him, with warm hands on his hips, and he teaches him stride for stride.
Eventually he gets the hang of it and doesn't need Katsuki or the wall as a clutch.
"Look at you go, nerd, you're doing it!" he cheers, laughter clear in his booming voice.
Some of the rare other patrons glance their way, but Izuku just laughs and races over to Katsuki as smoothly as he can (which isn't very smooth at all).
When Izuku gets close enough, he reaches out and grasps a chunk of Katsuki's shirt sleeve, using it to pull himself even closer. They roll together on the smooth wooden floor, breathing the same air.
Izuku thinks about kissing Katsuki then, too. His eyes trace the plush pink flesh of his lips and he automatically licks his own because he wants to be ready in case Kacchan chooses this moment to steal their first kiss.
"Ahem, umm," Katsuki clears his throat, eyes following the movement of Izuku's tongue.
The air in between them is hot, the tension rolls down Izuku's spine in a pleasurable way. The anticipation of their first kiss is making the moment sweeter.
"You shouldn't lean so far forward when you're moving like that, or else you might fall flat on your face." And as he's talking, he is moving his hands down Izuku's arms to disconnect where the shorter of the two have them connected. He moves behind Izuku and gives him a light push — hands deliciously squeezing his hips again — towards the center of the rink.
It is a rejection, but that is okay. Izuku convinces himself that if they had had their first kiss while he was on unstable footing he would have fallen flat on his ass.
Katsuki still had time to kiss him, they still had plenty of the night left.
That is what Izuku kept telling himself through out the night; when Katsuki didn't kiss him as they walked out hand-in-hand from the rink; when he wasn't kissed while they stood waiting for the train; or when they got off the train and the station was nearly empty; and once more as they stood outside the large doors to their dorm building.
"Kacchan..." Izuku sighs, running out of excuses. He knows Katsuki wants to kiss him, he's seen the way those illuminating red eyes have traced the shape of his mouth over and over through out the night. He just doesn't understand why he won't.
"Let's go," Katsuki says, once again grabbing Izuku's hand — an act that had seemed so awkward and huge when they'd first done it, but now was so casual and heart-warming — and dragging him inside.
Izuku suspects that Katsuki had known what Izuku was thinking about and wanted nothing to do with that conversation. Izuku doesn't make any excuses for that, and it does a hurt a little. He doesn't let himself think about it for too long, though.
Especially when Katsuki doesn't let go of his hand when they enter the building and he drags the two of them immediately to the stairwell.
Izuku thinks he might hear someone inquire about who is at the door, but he doesn't even have time to register who the voice even is before he is yanked from the area.
"Kacchan, what—?"
"Come on, Izuku," Katsuki huffs, tugging him along faster. They take the stairs quickly, going higher and higher than either of their dorms. Izuku's never been this far up; truth be told, he didn't even know they went this high up.
"Where are we...?" Izuku pants once they've reached the top there is nothing but a door left in front of them.
"You'll see," he grins, annoyingly not as out of breath.
Izuku keeps his mouth shut and follows Katsuki through the door.
It is still summer time, so even though the sun is touching the horizon and most of the sky has begun to darken, the air is still warm enough that neither of them have the need for a jacket. Izuku runs on the warmer side anyway; he always has, but OFA seems to have accentuated it more.
Three seconds after walking through the door, Izuku stops thinking about the temperature of the air immediately. Because holy shit they're on the roof!
The sun is setting and the city skyline is gorgeous from up here, nearly stealing all of the breath from Izuku's lungs. It is no wonder it takes the boy a couple of moments to look around and notice the blanket and large bean-bag chair sitting a couple of feet from the edge.
"Kacchan, what is this?" Izuku says dreamily.
Said blond just grins, holding his hand a little more delicately now as he leads him over to the chair. He answers before plopping down into the chair himself, "the rest of our date, duh."
He makes a motion with both hands that Izuku has to convince himself aren't grabby hands, and gets a hold of Izuku and pulls him onto his lap. Katsuki's legs are, unfairly, much longer than his and so he fits on his lap easily.
They haven't really cuddled a ton, or like.. ever, so this is very special. So special in fact, that Izuku forgets all about their kiss and his ultimatum.
He just lets his boyfriend wrap his arms around his waist and feel the heat seep into his clothes from all angles. They eventually get comfortable enough to both lean back so that Izuku can feel Katsuki's fluttery breath on his neck and his back is pressed flush with his chest. Together they watch the sun finish setting and the sky change its array of colors.
"This okay?" Katsuki asks, voice close enough to run a shiver down Izuku's arms.
Thinking that it is a delayed question about their sitting arrangement, Izuku absent-mindedly consents. He is so comfortable here, wrapped in Kacchan's arms and watching the Earth's daily artistic display.
His mind completely stops when he feels not-dry lips press into the side of his face, bordering his cheek and jawline.
He freezes, holding the breath he sucks in on reflex. That was definitely the press of his boyfriend's mouth and—
"Izuku," is murmured in a tone he didn't even know Katsuki was capable of.
Instantly, Izuku turns his head to the side enough to make eye contact with him. He sees the same flame of desire, attraction, wanting in Katsuki's eyes that he's sure reflect back in his.
Izuku's always been told his eyes are a window into his head; showing all his emotions and thoughts seemingly before Izuku even fully experienced them. In comparison, Katsuki heard that his weren't as open growing up and he learned to hide behind his default scowl. However, Izuku has learned to read them as easily as people have always been able to crack his own. He sees what Katsuki feels and he knows how to read this boy as if he was written clear on a page of paper.
"Kacchan," he whispers so softly his voice barely makes a noise.
Katsuki is staring at his mouth again but not moving.
Izuku sees the push he needs, so he gives in.
"Kiss me, Kacchan," he whispers again, his voice more breathy than usual.
Katsuki doesn't say anything, but he doesn't move either. Izuku holds his breath for a couple of seconds, wanting to move those couple of centimeters closer but he promised the blond that he would give him tonight to make the move.
"Izu..." Katsuki starts with the first syllable of his name but his voice and his courage dies shortly after.
Izuku lets out the breath he was holding when they settle back into the chair, both looking out towards the sun again. The green-haired boy closes his eyes for the moment and takes in the wave of disappointment he feels at yet another almost kiss.
He has no idea what Katsuki's hang-up is about needing to be the one to initiate the kiss, but Izuku knows how much worse it would be if he were to bypass that by kissing him first.
But even he can only be so patient.
"Why can't you kiss me, Kacchan? Do you want to?" He tries to not let too much of his disappointment seep into his voice; he's not entirely too sure he is that upset when he doesn't really succeed.
The hands pressed into his abdomen tense into a fist and he feels more than hears the other's sigh.
"Of course I want to," he says, tone lowered with emotions that Izuku is scared to sift through.
"Then why don't you!" Izuku is still facing away, and he is sitting up so that the only points of contact between them are Katsuki's hands around his middle and his ass sitting on strong thighs.
"Because I can't, I thought I could but I just can't make that first move no matter how much I want to!"
Izuku doesn't say anything for a second and Katsuki takes it as his invitation to keep going.
"I know I can do it, I know it is just a simple kiss, but I have wanted it for so long so what if I'm not good at it! And so there is a part of me that just wants to let you do it, but I swear, Izuku, I want to kiss you. I want to so bad."
Izuku turns around and sees red eyes set ablaze. He twists his legs around so that they hang off the side of his boyfriend's lap and the hand that had been resting on his stomach is now touching his back and Izuku takes his right hand in his own.
He takes the time to adjust his position so he has time to clear his tone of any emotions except patience and so that it is easier to look at Katsuki's face.
"So why can't I kiss you? Why does it matter?"
Katsuki's head falls forward and thunks heavily against Izuku's shoulder. "I don't even know how to explain it... I just, know stuff about myself I guess. I know you will probably have to take the initiative more often than not... I mean hell, look at how we got together—"
He's referencing the fact that it has been Izuku to take that leap forward and ask the other out. They'd been a mess for too long and Izuku had been hiding from his own feelings for too much long; so as soon as he had them sorted out (and came to the conclusion that he is and has been very much in love with Katsuki Bakugo) he approached the blond.
Izuku wants to also ask why that matters, but he doesn't want to sound like a broken record or anything. So he just lets Katsuki keep going.
"—and I told myself halfway through our first date that I was going to be the one to kiss you because I wanted to do that for us..." he prompts his chin on Izuku's shoulders now, but his eyes stay closed. "And I think about finally doing it and I just get.. nervous? scared? I don't know, but whatever it is it fucking sucks."
Izuku bobs his head up in down in a nod, trying to decipher what the hell it is that Katsuki is talking about.
He thinks that Izuku is going to have to initiate a lot of what they do, so he wants to be the one to make the first move when it comes to their first kiss.
Does he think that Izuku would mind being the one to initiate things?
Not once has Izuku had second thoughts about being the one to ask Katsuki out, nor has he minded being the one to grab his hand or pull his chair out for him on their first dinner. He likes being a gentleman for Katsuki and he likes taking those first steps; especially if he knows that it would be this stressful for Katsuki if their roles were reversed.
So he simply says this. "Do you think that I actually mind making the first move? Because I think I kind of like doing that."
Katsuki's eyes flicker open and pour over Izuku's face, as if checking if he was telling the truth. Izuku has nothing but honesty shining back.
"Really? Or are you just saying that?"
"Kacchan," Izuku says, bringing his left hand up to cup the blond's jaw, not missing the instant reaction of fluttering eyelids and the way he leans into the touch. "First of all, I wouldn't lie to you about something like this. And second, I definitely like doing it.
"Just like when I asked you out or took your hand for the first time, I like how you act surprised at first and then you show this adorable little pleased look on your face whenever I do something you like. Of course I'd want to see that more often!"
Kacchan, just as Izuku had predicted he would, widens his eyes for a second at the compliments and then a blush darkens the bridge of his nose cutely. God, when did Izuku start getting to see such an endearing side of his boyfriend?
"You sure it isn't weird?" Katsuki gruffs after a moment or two, looking away.
Izuku doesn't love that so he moves his hand so it is cupping more of his chin and forces him to be looking at his face and not behind him. "Do I look like someone who thinks that is weird?"
"Oh fuck," Katsuki breathes. And then after a moment, "okay."
"Okay?" Izuku cocks his head to the side and doesn't understand for a second.
"Okay," Katsuki echoes. "You can kiss me... please?"
For reasons Izuku thinks he knows but doesn't want to put forth the effort to think about it at this moment because it is definitely not the time, he feels shivers race down his spine at the way Katsuki's voice absolutely cracked at the pleading. And he just knows he will be hearing more of that shakey tone asking him to for things; it may not be for a while, but the thoughts he's been edging on since their last date are becoming more likely. Izuku likes having power over Katsuki and maybe, just maybe, Katsuki might be into giving that power to him.
That is for later them to figure out, though. For now? He isn't going to look this gift horse in the face and instead will be taking his small victories.
The hand already touching Katsuki's face goes back to cupping his jaw and his thumb traces the line of his sharp cheekbone. His touch is gentle and Izuku does not miss the way his lips part as his face relaxes further.
"Of course, baby," Izuku murmurs, leaning in to press their mouths together.
Not only is this their first kiss, but it is Izuku's first time kissing anyone. Pressing his lips against the warmth of Katsuki's and feeling his breath fanning over his face when they pull apart a second later is all dream-like; its been one kiss and he already knows he is addicted.
Also the pet name that had effortless fell from his mouth? That was a first for them too and he doesn't immediately get his head blasted off so he thinks it was a success.
Another win for Izuku is the way Katsuki tries to chase after his mouth when he pulls away, Izuku having to actually hold him back with the hand on his jaw.
"How much do you want to do right now?" Izuku asks, needing to know if just simple kisses were the agenda tonight.
"Wait do you want to do more?"
The almost fearful look in the blond's eyes has Izuku chuckling. "No, I didn't mean that, we're still a long way off from that... I just meant kissing-wise. Just one for tonight?"
"Oh, uh.." Katsuki looks down at their still-entwined fingers resting on Izuku's lap and he squeezes them reassuringly. "We can kiss some more, but maybe not too much?"
Izuku smiles and leans forward to give a sweet kiss to the tip of Katsuki's nose, startingly the blond into looking back up at the greenette's face. "Thank you for telling me that."
Katsuki doesn't respond, but his eyes do drift back down to Izuku's lips. So the shorter boy doesn't keep him waiting any longer and goes in for another sweet kiss. And another. And another. And another.
By the end of the night, their lips are sticky with slightly combined spit and hearts full of affection for each other. And yes, Izuku definitely walks Katsuki back to his dorm room at the end of the night and leaves with one last kick peck on his lips.

Summary: {Anonymous Prompt: I’d love to read a Heavans 38 Kiss (Awkward teenage crush kiss)} Or, Sam Evans has a crush on Kurt and he doesn't think Kurt knows about it. Spoiler alert, Kurt most definitely knows.
1
Sam most definitely does not have an issue. Nope. Definitely not.
He doesn’t watch the way the drumstick twirls expertly between slim fingers and he most definitely does not watch the muscles and tendons in the arm twitch and bulge with the movement of said drumstick. He doesn’t because he doesn’t have an issue at all – it’s that simple.
Sam crosses his arms and shifts on his feet, so entirely thankful of the distraction that Rachel offers the group. Apparently now she’s not getting a nose job – which Sam never saw the problem with (if it didn’t harm her or anyone else, who where they to tell her that she shouldn’t?) – and Sam is glad that she’s choosing this moment to announce it.
Especially because it gives Sam more time to not stare at Kurt’s slim waist, cocked hip, and almost bored expression. Gah, how much that looks stirs something inside of Sam is kind of ridiculous.
“Sam?” Mike is cocking his head and before Sam can focus on his buddy, Mike is following his line of sight.
“Oh,” is all Mike says. The tall Asian man claps him on the shoulder and gives him a pitied look.
Sam jerks back because he doesn’t know what that means at all, but he doesn’t want Mike to be assuming things. He wasn’t staring at Kurt or watching the way his hair sways when he moves because it’s standing up and sexily – artfully – tousled. He doesn’t want Mike reading into things that aren’t there.
This isn’t the first time since Kurt transferred back that Sam has had to try to bullshit himself about his feelings.
The feelings that he’s still trying to convince himself that don’t exist are the same ones that keep his heart thrumming quickly against his sternum every time the other boy comes into the room and the same ones that keep him up all night. Fantasies, both light-hearted sweet and dirty, keep him up and make him tired for school the next day, but he doesn’t have it in him to get upset at himself. He’s been trying to come around to this whole new set of feelings that seem to have just been plopped into his lap.
The glee club walks off stage. Now that Rachel is here, they will be running through the Lady Gaga routine. They’ve got it near-perfect, and this is the first dress rehearsal – which, as far as Sam can tell, is them making great progress.
“Look,” Sam catches Mike’s arm, stopping the other teen from following the rest of the group in. Sam waits until Artie has rolled off stage until he drops his voice to a whisper, eyes scanning the room to see if they’re being listened to or not, “I don’t know what you think you saw, but bro-“
Mike interrupts him, “You’re in denial still?”
“What?” he asks dumbly.
Mike glances up to where Sam knows – has no idea actually, because he hadn’t been watching him – Kurt is and then looks back at Sam. “I went through the same thing, Tina helped me figure it out and she’s been really supportive. So all I’m saying is that I get it.”
Sam may be a little slow to grasp things sometimes, but is Mike saying what he thinks he’s saying? “What?” he asks again because he’s not sure what else to say.
“Come on, guys,” Mr. Schuester ushers the two of them off the stage the rest of the way.
“I’m here if you need,” Mike smiles politely at him and goes over to his girlfriend and wraps his arms around her in a tight but quick hug. Then Tina, Mercedes, and Kurt are marching past Sam to go back onto the stage – oh right, they start the number.
Sam tries to watch the performance as innocently as everyone else does until his cue pulls him out onto the stage with the rest of his friends.
2
Two days later, the glee club master the “Born This Way” performance and then they are back in the choir room and Mr. Schue is giving out the newest lesson. Sam is only partially paying attention because it is getting to the end of the school year and spring is in full swing (with the summer heat right on its tail) and the choir room has always had poor circulation meaning they froze in the winter and now that it’s warming up everyone is quick to shed their layers – including Kurt.
Dressed down to just a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, Sam can’t help but notice how different he is from the boy who left McKinley earlier this year. He had been shorter and way skinnier (Sam realizes now that he must not have been eating properly) and now that he’s grown and filled out a little bit, people can’t help but notice him when he walks into a room. Especially today with his pale arms and long neck on full display.
The week’s lesson is a simple touch-up on the group’s choreography because Schue says something about not wanting to start anything too strong when they are getting close to when they should start preparing for nationals.
He then uses Kurt to demonstrate a few of their known moves and Sam’s in his own personal hell because he should be watching the way Kurt keeps his back straight and poised while he spins and how his foot flexes and keeps a perfect point outwards when he kicks his leg into the air, not the way the tendons in his neck flex when he bends down or the way his pants hug his ass and crotch so perfectly as if he’d chosen them for that very reason.
Sam’s mouth floods with saliva when he thinks about what those pants are hiding, and he feels like a disgusting predator. Kurt had just gotten back to his school and friends after needing to escape from an abusive closeted gay boy – what the hell is Sam thinking that he’s doing?
But then Kurt finished the short set of moves with a flick of his hair, standing more up from his face than laying relaxed on his forehead like Sam remembers it from before. And Sam knows that he loves Kurt’s hair, he’s not sure why, but it’s one of the many attractive things about this boy-
Someone aggressively kicks his chair. He jerks forward and almost falls out of it and onto the floor.
“What the-“ he turns and sees Mike glaring at him.
“I asked you a question, Sam,” Mr. Schue is saying, pulling Sam’s attention from the other football player.
“Oh,” Sam rubs his hands together nervously and flicks his eyes around the room, they’re all staring at him and he doesn’t even want to know what they’re thinking.
Wonderful for him that Puck can’t keep a single thought to himself. “Yeah, so stop daydreaming about Doll Face over there and pay attention.”
There are a couple of people who laugh and snicker and Sam feels his face heat up in embarrassment. When he looks up again, he catches Kurt’s confused gaze and oh God, the last thing he wants is for Kurt to find out.
“What uh- was the question?” Sam clears his throat and asks.
“Oh, I was just wondering if you could come up here and show us another few moves.”
Sam agrees and stands up to walk to the front of the room while Kurt returns to his seat. He’s sure that his blush doesn’t go away for the rest of the class period and he is unable to meet anyone’s eyes after.

Of all people to catch him after class, it just has to be Kurt.
Sam has been trying to convince him for weeks now that what he’s been feeling is just some stupid crush (something less than that, even) and every time he thinks he’s getting better – he’s sleeping easily and holding conversations with the boy without embarrassing himself – it just has to be Puck that unravels it all.
“I know Puck can be a dick sometimes,” Kurt is saying to him while they walk out of the choir room. They share the next class but usually Sam takes the long way around so he can avoid panting after Kurt the entire walk.
“But he got me thinking,” Kurt continues. “You have been watching me a lot lately, haven’t you?”
“I uh…” Sam is screwed.
They are walking close together (Sam tells himself that it’s because the hallway is crowded and so they have to walk this close in order to hear each other and to not get trampled) and Kurt is watching him with piercing blue eyes. He holds his chin out and shoulders back, so much confidence oozes from him.
“It’s okay,” Kurt says when Sam doesn’t talk for a few seconds.
Sam holds his breath, waiting for the other shoe (in the form of Kurt’s patronizing kindness and speech about how he just shouldn’t be so obvious about his crush) to drop and stomp on Sam’s fingers that are barely holding him to the ledge of this cliff above the endless waters of self-consciousness and awkwardness that he is about to be surrendered to.
“Okay?” Sam echoes in disbelief.
“Yeah, I mean- I don’t really know for sure why you have been, but regardless, it’s flattering.”
Sam watches Kurt’s usually pale and ceramic cheeks tint pink as he ducks his head and watches his feet for a few steps. This confuses Sam more than his words have – what the hell does Kurt have to be embarrassed for? It’s Sam with the silly crush here, not him.
“Is it flattering or creepy?” Sam asks because he has to, he has to know that he hasn’t come off as too strong at all or it won’t let him sleep.
“You think someone having a crush is creepy?” Kurt stops abruptly and turns to look at Sam head on.
The shorter boy’s abruptness shocks Sam into an honest answer, “What- who said I had a crush on you?”
It came out a little rougher than he meant to, but he was sure that “watching someone” and “having a crush on someone” were two different types of attraction and Sam hasn’t even figured out if he’s into all guys yet. And since he’s pretty sure there is no sexuality dedicated to just being attracted to Kurt Hummel, it has been taking him a while to figure things out. So, the part of himself that he’s been trying to keep hidden and protected for a few weeks now panicked and snapped out the question instead of using the reasoning tone like he had been planning on.
“I- oh.” Kurt says at first, meeting his eyes for only a second before he rocks on his feet nervously and looks at the ground again. “I just thought- uh, well I hoped, actually, that maybe you did.”
“You- wait,” Sam’s hands shake while his head rushes as his brain processes what he just said. “You hoped?”
A smile graces Kurt’s mouth and Sam loves it so much, and the blush that grows darker as he scuffs his feet on the tiled floor. The hallway is emptying out and the bell that will signal their tardiness is going to ring soon and Sam doesn’t think there has been anything else that he cares less about. There is this warmth blooming in his chest and shit- maybe this is a little more than a simple crush.
“Y-yeah,” Kurt breathes, he looks up and his smile grows at the obvious hope mirrored on Sam’s face. His shoulder lifts in a casual shrug. “I was hoping that you liked me, too.”
Too. Sam’s heart skids almost-painfully in his chest and he gasps at the word, all of his emotions plainly broadcasted on his face.
“Uh,” Sam is grasping at what to say next. Kurt’s cheeky grin shares that he knows that Sam likes him too and is now just being awkward, but Sam has no idea what to do or say. “I don’t really know how to- umm…” Sam breaks off in an awkward laugh and rubs the back of his neck.
“You don’t know how to what?” Kurt tries. His hand raises halfway between the two of them, like he was going to touch Sam but thought against it, and then he glares at the limb as if it offended him before dropping it to his side again.
“I don’t know what to say- like, I want you to know that I do like you, but I’m just not sure how-“
“But you do like me?”
“Yes,” Sam confirms.
If Sam thought his simple grin was cute, then it is nothing for the breath-takingly beautiful way he smiles wide enough to show his teeth and crinkle his eyes. His entire face lights up with joy, and Sam’s not sure when he stopped breathing because the sight makes him gasp and the rush of oxygen is almost euphoric.
“Are you serious?” Kurt asks, trying to get his expression under control and take on a serious tone.
When Sam grins, though, he gets to see his pretty smile once more.
Part of him cannot believe that they just admitted to something like this and are now staring at each other like goofy idiots in the middle of an otherwise abandoned hallway (the bell must have rung already but neither of them are making a move towards the classroom still). Sam doesn’t want to be anywhere else.
“Of course.”
“Well then, now what?” Kurt asks and one of his eyebrows quirk up and Sam finds it so incredibly adorable. Okay, so maybe he isn’t trying to pretend like nothing is going on – but at least it is no longer a problem.
“I don’t-“ he starts, but then something occurs to him. There is one thing that he wants to do, something that he’s been thinking about for a while and now he might have the opportunity to do. “Oh, uh, can I kiss you?” Sam asks hurriedly.
“Right here?” Kurt looks around.
Sam sees that there is no one else except them, their voices echo a little bit even. All of the surrounding classroom doors are closed and they aren’t standing in the view of any of them anyways. “Why not?”
“Uhh…” Kurt glances down at his hands again and then back up. “I don’t know how- and I know you’ve kissed a lot-“
Sam is quick to amend him, “but never another boy. I’m just as nervous,” he sticks his hand out and they both look down to watch it shake a little. Sam feels like a strong wind could knock him down with how weak-kneed he feels.
“I mean, sure- yes.”
“Yeah?”
“Yes, please?”
Sam laughs, a genuine laugh, and rocks back and forth on his feet a little bit. He rubs his palms on his thighs, drying the sweat from them, and licks his lips nervously. Also looks a little nervous and he licks his lips after watching Sam first.
“Yeah, right- so…” Sam mumbles before starting to lean down.
Kurt takes a tiny step forward so that they are standing a lot closer than Sam had anticipated and he accidently smacks their foreheads together. They spring apart instantly.
“Ouch,” Kurt breathes and brings a hand up to his head.
Sam mentally curses himself out. “I’m sorry- I didn’t mean to.”
“It’s okay, Sam,” Kurt giggles and tilts his chin up and levels the tall blonde with another stare.
“Oh- uh, okay.”
Sam leans down again, this time keeping his eyes open enough to watch what he’s doing more. Then he gets close enough and he can’t keep his eyes open without going cross-eyed (which hurts his head, so he’d rather not do that) and so he slips them closed. Then their lips connect.
It’s only for a split second and then Kurt is pulling back.
Sam opens his eyes and his eyebrows shuffle down in confusion. But before he can even full wonder why Kurt pulled away so quickly, the boy is speaking.
“Oh God, was that too quick? I wasn’t sure what we were doing, and I thought it was gonna be a quick kiss, but I’m so sorry I-“
Sam’s laughter cuts him off. How can Kurt, who is usually so confident and sure of himself, be so freaking self-conscious now? Sam finds it endearing, actually, that his nervous and awkwardness are evenly matched here.
“You’re adorable,” he says. He slowly picks up a hand and holds it up to Kurt’s face, giving him ample time to pull away if he’d wished to, he doesn’t. So, Sam cups Kurt’s jaw and pulls the boy in for another, longer kiss.
When their lips touch Sam realizes that it really isn’t much different from kissing a girl (what with how soft and nice to touch Kurt’s skin and lips are) and he knows how to kiss a girl, so he presses his lips in a little harder before turning his head to the side to better slot their mouths together.
It turns out that Kurt doesn’t really know what he’s doing so Sam keeps it sweet and brief. Their lips make a wet suction sound when they separate. Sam watches Kurt’s eyes flutter open and he is still so beautiful up this close.
When Sam straightens up fully, ignoring the way his back pops in like ten different places, Kurt squints at him. “What?” he asks.
“That’s it?” Kurt grumps.
Sam genuinely laughs and, much more gently this time, presses his foreheads together. “We have to get to cl-“
Kurt sneaks in for another sweet press of their lips and Sam feels hands on his waist and the warm weight of them is one of the best feelings he’s ever felt.
But it only lasts for a second before all of him is gone and he’s standing a few steps ahead of Sam, walking in the direction of the class that they are now tardy for.
“You’re right,” he calls over his shoulder, his voice bouncing around the empty hallway. “We should get to class!”
Sam laughs and chases after Kurt.
He’s not sure if this makes them boyfriends or not, nor does it help him figure out the puzzle that still is his sexuality, but it still does matter to Sam. And it matters to Kurt if the way that he’s walking lighter and grinning much easier says anything. They’ll talk about it eventually, but for now, he’s just going to remember the feeling of the boy’s lips against his own.
Sam almost forgets that they share this class with a couple of other glee kids and so when they walk inside and he meets Mike’s eyes after accepting his tardy from the teacher, he is a little shaken. He watches Mike’s eyes flit back and forth between Sam and Kurt before raising an eyebrow at Sam when the pair of boys take their seats. Sam just shrugs he knows that his blush tells the whole story.
Later that hour, he gets a note passed to him and reads:
you will be telling me everything after class
-mike
Sam grins and tucks the note into the folder that he had and pays attention to class. He’s sure that by glee club tomorrow, the whole group will know that something is going on and Sam doesn’t have it in him to be mad at how quickly gossip spreads.
And if Sam is out of his seat the moment the bell rings so that he can be at Kurt’s side quickly, then that’s what he does. Now that Kurt knows, Sam isn’t going to hold back anymore (within reason, of course). As much as he doesn’t care about the gossip, he doesn’t care about the jokes that get tossed around for the rest of the year about Kurt having an oversized golden Labrador retriever puppy following him constantly.

Summary: Alpha and soon-to-be king Dean Winchester has to step up and marry an omega from another kingdom to unite the two. Dean is upset about his bachelor life ending until he gets the chance to talk to the omega Castiel. Or, the one where Dean is a stubborn alpha who loves drowning in good sex. Until he alphas up and accepts his responsibilities.
A/N: This is the second part. First part here.
Castiel was nervous, Dean could tell by the way his hands shook when he took the glass bowl of a bluish-greenish colored sand. Dean had a bowl with red sand.
They stood in front of all of Lawrence. Dean’s stomach was in knots and he hadn’t been able to eat this morning, so maybe he was nervous as well. He knew it wasn’t because of the crowds, but because of the act he was completing.
“The blue sand represents loyalty, forgiveness, and obedience. Everything an omega is,” the pastor says. He’s the oldest of the kingdom; he was around when Dean’s grandfather ruled. And per tradition, the oldest in the kingdom marries the heirs. “It is a symbol of the omega Castiel Novak.”
Castiel looks at Dean and the alpha tries to smile at the nervous omega, he really does, but he’s pretty sure it just looks like a grimace.
Despite the long talk the night before, Castiel still seemed reluctant to be here. When Sam had come to get him, Dean thought things would be okay. He thought they’d talked enough and had an arrangement to ignore their wedding; to pretend it never happened.
Then he’d walked out onto the courtyard steps, dressed in flowing robes and a freshly shined chest plate, his hair combed and styled by Sam himself, - who stood behind him as a reminder that things would work out - his omega look ready to tuck tail and run.
Castiel had been waiting - another symbol of the proper omega - waiting for their alpha to come to them; he looked like he was going to be sick. Was that from stage fright? Or did he really, really not want to marry Dean? Which, okay, understandable, marrying someone a lot older than you could probably be a little weird, Dean sympathized.
“And the red sand,” the pastor continues, “represent strength, protectiveness, and bravery. Everything an alpha must be to keep their omega and kingdom at peace.”
Dean noticed Castiel’s fingers slipping on the glass bowl because his hands must have been clammy. Dean thought he was going to drop the bowl, but at the last second, he readjusted his grip on the slick glass.
The alpha wanted to comfort his soon-to-be omega, to erase his unease, but Castiel had looked away and now refused to look at him.
“And now, the sands will be mixed together and symbolize unity within the Kingdom of Lawrence, and the Northern Territories. These two heirs will pour their sand into this bowl together-” he gestured to the larger, sculptured bowl on the table behind him “-and the two Kings will come together and welcome the two heirs together.”
A normal marriage wouldn’t take all of this, but they were unifying two kingdoms. The big ceremony had taken a while to plan because they had to match it to fit the unity of the two kingdoms and to match each King’s wish. They must have decided something after dinner the previous night because as Dean had left to go to his room, he’d seen the other king meeting his father. Whatever, Dean thought quietly. He was more worried about Castiel than the ceremony.
Castiel and Dean turned towards the table, the pastor moved away for a moment. Behind them, King John and King Chuck stepped forward. As their sons poured the sand into the bowl together, the kings shook each other’s hands. The kingdoms were almost unified, all that was left was Dean and Castiel’s unification.
For a heartbeat or two, Castiel was close enough that Dean could feel him shaking. Their arms pressed against each other as the sand tumbled together in the crystal bowl.
“You okay?” Dean whispered. He could no longer wait to comfort his omega after the ceremony. He had to make sure that Castiel was into this all of the way; because, even though it meant sparking a war between the two territories, he’d call the wedding off right now if it meant giving into the omega.
Dean’s not sure when or why he started thinking so highly of the boy, but he wished Castiel felt the same way towards him.
“I’m good. Nervous,” was all he said before placing the now empty bowl on the table beside the larger one and turned away once more; Dean did the same.
The pastor stepped back into place and the two kings stood off to their respective sides once more. They had already said their vows; Castiel’s had sounded strained and rehearsed to Dean’s ears. So now all that was left was-
“Do you, Castiel Novak, Prince Omega of the Northern Territories, take Dean Winchester, Prince Alpha of Lawrence to be your lawfully wedded husband?” Did he flinch at the word husband like it was some dirty title? Dean thought he did. Maybe not.
A long pause - he finally meant Dean’s eyes. Dean didn’t smile back, couldn’t because for a long moment he thought the omega was going to say no. That he was going to back off and ruin everything. But hadn’t Dean been willing to do the same for him only a few moments ago?
“I do.” He said standing up straighter. There were some cheers amongst the crowds.
Dean smiled, small and shy, but he smiled.
“Do you, Dean Winchester, Prince Alpha of Lawrence, take Castiel Novak, Prince Omega of the Northern Territories, to be your lawfully wedded husband?”
Dean hasn’t looked away from Castiel’s eyes, but the omega hasn’t look away either.
Long silence. Was Dean supposed to do something? He can’t remember, Castiel’s gaze was captivating. The omega’s smile widened a fraction as if he knew what he was doing.
It was Sam to the rescue again , the beta thought sarcastically as he kicked the back of Dean’s leg, careful not to get his slacks dirty. Dean’s leg buckled a little, but not enough for others to notice all that much.
“I- uh. Yeah, I do.” Dean stammered.
He could physically feel John’s glare on the back of his neck. His scent drifted into Dean’s nose, low and dull like everyone else’s, but he was pissed. Dean didn’t care, because his omega laughed; only quietly and one breath, but Dean heard it. He had been wrong, Castiel wanted this, he was sure of it.
Both of their smiles were wiped away when the pastor said, “Now you may kiss the omega.”
They didn’t talk about this before, how would Castiel react? Had the young omega forgotten about this part of the ceremony? From the uneasy way he looked away, at anything besides Dean, the answer was yes.
Dean took a step forward, Castiel leaned back slightly. Dean noticed, but he was sure no one else did.
“It’ll be okay, remember what I said last night?” Dean whispered as he continued to lean in with his hands coming up to cup Castiel’s jaw. The omega was shaking again, his scent was erratic and for a moment Dean couldn’t tell what he was feeling.
“I know, Dean. But-” Dean interrupted him by pressing his lips to the omega’s.
Castiel was shaking a lot now, a low whine rimpled from the back of his throat. Dean jerked back and started to pull away partly because of the sound and partly because a simple kiss is all they needed, but Castiel’s hands, which had been resting on Dean’s chest, gripped the edges of the chest plate and pulled him in again.
The omega’s lips were wet enough for Dean to wonder when he had licked his lips because they were only separated for a short time period. A low moan rumbled from the smaller man. Dean wrapped his arms around Castiel’s shoulders. Their lips met over and over again.
“Dude,” Sam said, and Dean could hear the slight alarm in his voice, but he didn’t care, his omega was in his arms and warm against him, and-
Castiel jerked back this time. John had shushed Sam. Dean met his omega’s eyes, the pupils large and the slight color around them glowing blue lowly.
Dean realized something wasn’t right then, he looked around, stepped back and suddenly John was there. “Okay, the bedroom in the west wing is made up for you two.” He leaned closer to Dean, so only his son could hear, “Go treat your husband, Dean.”
At the same time, Castiel was spitting at John, “What did you do to us?”
Dean’s head hurt; he was spinning. Castiel scent was getting better and better as each moment passed. Dean leaned forward - helpless to do anything else - his nose running along Castiel’s jaw, scenting him. Castiel’s hands squeezed the metal of the chest plate, fingernails scraping Dean’s sides through the fabric, sending alluring shivers up his spine.
People have started to surround them now, away from the crowd, ushering them inside the big double doors that opened. “It’s the ceremony,” John responded. Did he sound angry? Dean couldn’t tell. All of his senses were focused on his omega, his husband . Dean’s cock stirred in his pants.
“Dean, are you in rut?” Sam’s voice farther behind him. Dean looked over Castiel’s head and they were inside the castle. Down a small hallway was their bedroom, King John and King Chuck were still urging their sons to keep moving and slowly they were. The two kings were careful to not touch them.
Dean snapped back, out of the haze. He stood up straight and yeah, he was going into rut- but he wasn’t supposed to for at least four more weeks.
“Yes,” Castiel’s father called from somewhere to his left. “And Castiel is going into heat.”
“The ceremony pushes you into heat and rut so that there could be a new heir created, and…”
Dean stopped listening because Castiel pressed himself back into Dean’s chest, the omega’s hands mapping out Dean’s sides, shoulders, and then his neck, pulling the alpha’s mouth back to his.
Castiel was going into heat. No, this isn’t what was suppose to happen- Then he remembered what John had said. A fresh heir. An heir? Like he and Castiel had to get pregnant tonight?
“Deeean,” he mouthed by the alpha's ear. Dean forgot about everything once more, his tongue coming to taste Castiel’s neck. The omega’s new scent exploded onto his tongue, he went back for another taste. It was sweeter now and very much addicting.
The two kings were quick to get the guards to close the large doors behind them. The newlywed’s scents were strengthening with their arousal and they had to get to their bedroom now.
Dean’s hands moved lower, gripping the omega’s hips, enjoying the way the bodice he was wearing hugged his frame well. Castiel’s right hand was tugging on Dean’s hair and his left and gripping the edge of the chest plate again when they finally made it to the bedroom. Their lips tangled together and their breathing sped up.
The door slammed behind them, Dean heard the lock slide into place but couldn’t register it over the need to mate his omega. Mate. Mate. Claim. Claim. It rang like a bell in the back of his head, and the only thing he could think of other than that is how well Castiel fit in between his hands and pressed against his front.
They made it to the bed before Castiel pulled away with a gasp this time, and he stepped away completely. Dean snapped back to his senses as well; how did they get here? Had they really walked all the way from the courtyard? How many people saw him tongue-fucking his omega like a sex-crazed alpha? He remembered what John said, heat and rut. Dean took gulping breaths through his mouth, trying not to smell Castiel, and instead tasting him in the air instead.
“Did you know this was going to happen!?” Castiel yelled at him, accusing him.
“No,” Dean breathed. Castiel stepped farther away, a look of pure hatred thrown Dean’s way.
“Liar!” Castiel accused. “You knew all along, and because you wanted to get your dick wet you didn’t-” he was so angry he couldn’t finish his sentence, Dean was hit with his scent again heat and hatred. Gods, he was so screwed. His dick jumped in his pants, the front of his pants bulging out.
Castiel started yelling again, “And so you said all of those things last night. How you wanted me to happy-” He groaned and his arms wrapped around his middle as if he was just punched in the gut. Cramps, Dean thinks, because he needs a knot, because he’s in heat and he doesn’t want Dean.
Dean stepped closer following Castiel around the bed. “I swear I didn’t know! Castiel-” he reached out, but before his hand made contact with his shoulder the omega was screaming again. How had he not alerted the guards Dean was sure were outside yet?
“No, don’t touch me!” He jumped onto the bed and crawled away. For a split moment, he was on all fours with his ass presented so sweetly for Dean, and the alpha’s mouth flooded with saliva. The omega’s yelling pulled him back out of it. “I knew from the moment I met you, that you’d be some jerk off of an alpha! God, I was so stupid! I can’t believe I fell for it!”
Dean tried chasing him again; the alpha was starting to cramp up now, his dick growing harder in his jeans from the omega’s heat scent. Castiel grabbed a pillow and threw it at him, which he easily dodged. The omega fell off the other side.
Dean froze when he heard Castiel sob.
“Castiel?” Dean tried. The omega didn’t respond.
Dean peered over the edge of the bed. The omega was on the floor, hugging himself tighter into a ball, sobs shaking him. Dean felt another shot pang through him, this one worry and concern, and it dulled the lust for the moment.
“Castiel?” Dean murmured. “Are you all right?”
“No,” he answered.
“We.. umm… don’t have to do… anything. If you don’t want to, I mean.” Dean struggled to say. It wasn’t that Dean was incapable of saying it - hell Dean himself didn’t want to do this if Castiel didn’t want to, the rut was all alpha.
Castiel hugged himself tighter. Dean crawled off the bed and was careful to breathe lightly as he sat beside the crying form on the ground. “I’m sorry this happened to you.”
Castiel stopped moving. His breathing was fast, little pants; he was trying not to inhale Dean’s scent. For a long moment - Dean’s face scrunched up as his abdomen seized in a series of painful cramps, his cock achingly hard now - Castiel didn’t say anything. So Dean continued talking, “I am sorry. And I swear to you, I did not know this would happen.”
Castiel sobbed again, a groan torn from his lips. Dean didn’t know how bad an omega got during their heat, he’s never had to deal with one before - but Castiel was in pain, and he wanted to help him.
“Did you mean it?” Castiel’s voice, small and brittle.
“What?” Dean asks, all attention on Castiel. The omega sat up. Dean tried to hold his breath against the onslaught of his scent, but it hit him again and his head spun and he felt dizzy. Castiel’s nostrils flared because he was scenting Dean. The alpha pushed his chest out and sat up straighter, Castiel whined again but bit it off before Dean could hear it completely.
“Gods, you smell good,” Castiel moaned. His lips were kiss-swollen and his eyes shone and his fucking scent was driving Dean insane. All the alpha in him wanted to pull his dick out - which was scrunched uncomfortably in his pants because of the way he is crouched - and just get off . If he could get off then he’d be able to think.
“Yeah?” Dean asked gently, Castiel leaned forward to get another hit of his husband’s scent, the omega’s nose was turned up towards Dean’s neck where their smell was the strongest. Dean noticed and turned his chin to the side, never taking his eyes off the omega, and let him smell as much as he pleased.
“Huh?” Castiel swayed back and forth. He looked up at Dean with lidded eyes and huge pupils.
“Castiel!” Dean said sternly; the omega straightened up quickly, looking at Dean with alarm.
The omega tried to stand up, wobbled on coltish legs, and fell again. Dean had to turn away and hold his breath, his abdomen and thighs tense as his cock twitch, the tent in his pants becoming obscene. Dean could feel his knot, which was still small but filling with every huge whiff of his omega.
“I c-can’t. Umm… your scent and this damn heat.” Castiel’s arms wrapped around his middle again.
Dean watched his omega in pain. He couldn’t do anything because the guy didn’t want him to touch his body. “Gods, this sucks. I never wanted this, just believe me there.”
“You didn’t want this? You don’t want to tie with me?” The omega ducked his head and peered through his lashes. Dean’s cock twitched when the omega looked down at this crotch as if to show that he was very interested.
Dean groaned, “Yes. I want to tie with you, you have no idea. I mean last night, I didn’t know this was going to happen and I didn’t want to then.”
“And now?”
“Okay, umm... And now? Ahh, this damn rut.” He had to pause and grab his crotch, his dick was leaking in his pants, his knot filling up now. His underwear was a complete mess of precome, his dick was leaking steadily, he knew it was a fucking mess. Castiel watched as his hand squeezed himself. “Now, I can’t even- I can’t smell you without my knot-”
“Is it filling up?” Castiel no longer looked embarrassed. He took a deep breath, “Oh, it is,” he moaned. “I can smell it.”
Dean’s knees hit the ground as he squeezed his cock, he could no longer hold his weight on his heels, but the jerk forward threw him forward and now he was inches from Castiel’s neck.
Dean watched as Castiel licked his lips, still staring at Dean’s hand wrapped around the bulge in his pants. Dean moaned at that, and when the omega looked up at him, finally realizing how close they were, he grinned. Dean couldn’t handle the look; his omega was so damn attractive.
Dean moved his chin up to press their mouths together. The omega sat up and pushed against him, a solid, warm body against the alpha’s chest. He felt Castiel’s hands, one wrapped around the back of his neck, nails digging into his flesh, leaving little crescent imprints in his skin, and the other one had wedged itself up under the chest plate that Dean still had on and was scratching at his chest. One of Castiel’s nails scrapped over Dean’s left nipple and the alpha bucked forward and their crotches rubbed together and created the perfect friction.
“Dean, Dean… ahhh!” The omega moaned when Dean rutted against him a few more times. Castiel wrenched himself away from the rut-crazed alpha.
Dean was at a loss when there was no omega against him but he got a mouthful of non-omega saturated air and he came to his senses but his right hand found its way back to his aching dick, cupping the bulge. Castiel swore when he saw it.
“Fuck,” Dean moaned. The sound of curses falling off Castiel’s lips looked delicious.
“I believe you,” Castiel said, still looking at Dean’s crotch. “I do, but… I thought we’d have some time before we’d have to… to… umm..”
“Mate?” Dean offered.
“Yeah. But right now… I really want you to fill me up,” his voice was pure sex. Of fuck, that sounded like begging. Dean’s dick really liked that.
Dean straightened up, walking backward on his knees until his back hit the double french doors that led to the balcony. “You can’t.. -fuck. You can’t say those kinds of things.” His hand came up behind him and he opened the doors, fresh air flooded the room and Dean turned to take in lungfuls.
It was like the sweetest water after days of thirst but also felt like the worst kind of deprivation. He stepped onto the stone balcony, the outside wall of it was tall enough that he was barely tall enough to see over the edge of it while he was kneeling.
“Dean,” Castiel whined. Dean grabbed the stone and squeezed. Dean heard his omega stand up.
“If you come out here… I can’t promise I’ll be able to .. stop.” Dean warned.
“I don’t want you to.”
There he was, Dean’s omega, standing in the doorway looking like they’ve already gone at it. His hair was ruffled, his eyes shone brightly with lust, and his bodice had been loosened to where it looked like it hung of his shoulders and waist. Oh fuck, he was taking it off, exposing the lighter undershirt and tight dress pants underneath.
“Alpha,” Castiel moaned. Dean’s nails stung as they dug into the unforgivable concrete.
“Please tell me it's you talking and not the heat,” Dean put his other hand up when Castiel stepped closer. The balcony was only so big. Dean started smelling Castiel’s scent again, he shivered at the sweetness of it.
“I figured that we would have to deal with this some way,” the omega started. “I mean, why should we sit here and wait for it to go away - if it does on its own - when we can deal with it ourselves.”
“Yes, I understand that, but…” Dean trailed off. He couldn’t think of why he was stopping it. The omega saw his indecisiveness and walked into his hand until it was pressing into his lower stomach.
“Are you sure?” Dean gasped. His dick jumped in his pants again, as if to tell Dean to let him out to play. His fingers gripped the omega roughly and the other boy moaned.
“Yes, I am sure I want this if you want this.” Castiel kept coming closer and looked down at Dean. The alpha had to admit to himself that it was hot, having to look up at his omega. Oh fuck, Castiel was bending over to lean down and whisper in his alpha’s ear.
“You have no idea how ready I am, Dean.” His name sounded like sin on Castiel’s lips.
“I’m about to have an idea,” Dean kissed his omega. Castiel’s knees caved, but Dean caught him by the thighs before he could hit the ground. The alpha felt the rush of adrenaline and lust rush through him as he guided Castiel’s legs to wrap around his hips and stood up. The omega’s arms immediately came around Dean’s neck and he held his alpha’s mouth to his as he was carried back into their bedroom.
The alpha rutted against his omega once before they fell onto the mattress. Dean pulled away and licked one long strip from the side of Castiel’s shoulder, nuzzling under his shirt collar, over along his collarbone and up his neck that earned him a stream of whimpered profanities from the omega. When he pulled away he looked up at Castiel with dark-lidded eyes and growled “Mine,” then licked the spot he had just sucked.
Castiel threw his head back and howled with pleasure, and the sound caused Dean’s hips to push forward again, but this time he put pressed lower and ground his knot against the boy underneath him.
“You need to get this off,” Castiel groaned and tugged on the chest plate Dean was still wearing.
“Yeah, yeah,” Dean mumbled as he fumbled with the clips on either side of his waist. After a moment, Castiel helped and they got the offending chunk of metal off.
The omega didn’t stop there, however. He rid Dean of his shirt and pause to admire for only a short amount of time before he started working on the alpha’s belt as well. Whilst his husband attempted to rid him of clothes, Dean tried pulling off his omega’s clothes as well.
Soon the robes were gone, and Dean pushed Castiel up far enough on the bed that he could lay over him. Dean looked down at his husband and saw the burning need in his eyes, he fucking smelled it on him. The green-eyed alpha bent down and licked up the other’s neck again, Dean knew very well that he would never get enough of his omega’s scent.
“I’m so ready for you,” Castiel bit Dean’s ear and soothed it over with his tongue, which caused a full body shiver.
“Yeah,” Dean breathed it like a challenge.
“Feel for yourself,” Castiel mumbled and grabbed his hand and pressed it between his cheeks. And he was wet, he felt wet enough for Dean to be able to just slip right in.
Dean cursed. Castiel laughed and it was all breathy and moans and Dean loved it right away. Castiel’s hand let go of Dean’s and grabbed his dick instead, which caused Dean to rut forward and in his hand. He was leaking enough precome to slick up the tunnel his hand made, Dean rocked forward a few times.
“Do it,” Castiel said.
“Yes?”
“Ye ah, ” Castiel broke off with a moan when Dean pressed the blunt head of his dick to his rim.
Fuck, Dean thought. He really was ready. Dean hadn’t been with a lot of male omegas before, but the ones he did had needed prep before. But then again, Dean has never been with an omega in heat before.
Dean pushed in slowly, Castiel’s legs came up around his alpha’s hips.
“Just fucking do it!” Castiel whined loudly.
Dean gave a huff of laughter but pushed in. Castiel took in a sharp breath and their eyes locked as Dean stopped and waited. Castiel took a few moments but then nodded for Dean to continue so he did slowly. It was an exercise in self-control for Dean. Castiel felt so amazingly tight and hot and he just wanted to pull out and slam back in over and over but he knew he needed to go slow. When he was finally was fully sheathed inside the omega he leaned down and kissed his mate.
“Dean,” Castiel moaned long and loudly.
“Castiel…Cas…oh Gods, you feel so good.” Dean hung his head and lapped at the omega’s neck again. He pulled his lips back and nipped at the skin there teasingly.
“Yes, yes!” Castiel’s hands clawing up and down his back. And fuck- Dean couldn’t believe what he was asking for. His bite meant a lot, and if he did it.. Dean pressed farther into the omega at the thought of claiming him as a permanent mate.
“Move Dean, I need you to start moving.”
Dean didn’t need to be told twice. He pulled out and thrust back in gently. Dean watched Castiel’s face carefully as he did it again looking for any signs of pain. There wasn’t any, just a long moan of pleasure and that snapped his alpha to the forefront. Dean thrust in and ground against him, rubbing his knot against the omega’s rim and Castiel’s eyes rolled back into his head and he arched up.
“Oh fuck Dean, oh fuck, do that again.” Castiel panted. Dean obliged and again the omega cried out. He hit that spot again and again and Castiel was such a mess underneath him and it was beautiful. His head was tilted back, his neck outstretched and his body was flushed pink and beading with sweat. He wanted to lick and suck and bite every inch of Castiel’s skin but he would settle for what he could reach right now. Castiel moaned as Dean worked his way around the omega’s shoulders and up his neck.
“Dean, oh Dean,” Castiel breathed. This wasn’t going to last much longer Dean could feel his body starting to seize up.
“Are you close?” Dean grunted. The omega moaned and nodded aggressively. Dean sped up and pulled Castiel’s thighs up higher on his waist and kept driving in over and over. The omega underneath him spasmed; his back bent nearly in half because he was arched so hard and his neck was all tension and he pressed his head farther in the pillow beneath him.
“Do it! Do it, please!” The omega screamed. “Bite me! Please!”
Dean leaned down again and scraped his teeth against the white column of flesh but didn’t bite down. Yes, he was an alpha, but he wasn’t an animal and he did have self control, and he wouldn’t bite the omega and claim him like that until they talked about it more. They were only satisfying the rut and heat for now. Later though, Dean promised himself, he would have the creamy neck in between his teeth.
“Deeeeaaann,” Castiel moaned his name loudly and he clenched down on the dick shoved so far up his ass he was seeing stars. Dean panted and shoved in harder as lines of white, liquidy, omega come shot between their stomachs.
And that was it, Dean dropped his hips and his knot swelled up as much as it would, locking them together. Dean’s dick twitched hard once before he was spraying his own fertile come inside of his omega. Dean’s alpha roared inside of him because he was possibly creating an heir right this moment and he was high off it.
Castiel whimpered and clenched around him again like he was milking Dean for all he’s got. Dean rests his weight on his arms, careful not the crush the boy beneath him, and kissed Castiel gently.
“You didn’t bite me,” Castiel accused softly when they pulled away.
“No,” Dean shook his head. His arms were wearing out from holding himself up from the work out they just completed. Their desperation was going away now, both of their bodies satisfied.
“Thank you,” Cas whispered. Dean rolled them over onto their sides and tucked the omega to his chest. Castiel’s left hand rubbed circles in Dean’s side, Dean hummed pleasantly.
“We can do this, y’know.”
“Do you think so?” Dean asked. Castiel nuzzled closer and his breathing evened out. He fell asleep before he could answer, Dean smiled as he pet the omega’s head and hair out of his face. His eyes were closed and Dean felt his hot breath on his neck.
The alpha had to admit, as far as husbands go, Dean’s wasn’t all that bad.
You are now required by law to tell me what fic you are currently working on/worked on last. I don't make the rules (except that I totally do and you have to listen to my law).
A big thank you to @backslashdelta and @katyobsesses for tagging me. I love this so much and had a lot of fun putting this together! <3
Rules: List the first lines of the last ten (10) stories you published. Look to see any patterns you notice yourself, and see if anyone else notices any. Then tag some friends.
I’ve learned a few things about the way I write today... I either start my fics with very cutesy and short sentences that usually jump right into a scene, or I am a big fan of run-on sentences. There is no in between. :) (also there is a link to each fic if you want to you know... give them another read and some more love *nudge, nudge*)

Hinata has been feeling off all day and it doesn’t help that he had a dentist appointment this morning (which he hates thank you very much) and so he hadn’t been able to be in his morning classes at all.
Unfortunately, all of his morning classes are the ones he shares with Kageyama and so he doesn’t see the other boy until volleyball practice that afternoon.
When he walks into the gym, his eyes scan the court and he can’t see or hear him at all.

Peter finds Ned in the comic book section again this time.
“Hey man!” Peter calls out with a nod when his friend looks up from the Star Wars comic he had his nose buried in. Peter was carrying a stack of fantasy books on his way down the aisle to restock some shelves when he saw the familiar face.

All Peter can really think as he tries to focus on anything but the pain is how he hadn’t been directed to this mission, but actually volunteered for it. The pain in his side and left shoulder from smacking right into the side of a building that he hadn’t seen; the pain in his dislocated right shoulder from the amount of time that one of their targets had grabbed his web (connected to said right hand) and swung him around above its heads like imitating a helicopter’s propellors was a fun game (it’s like the only time he’s ever really wished for his web to not be as strong and resilient as it is); and the pain in his head from the weariness and dehydration that he’s feeling. In conclusion, he’s a mess right now.

Unsurprising to anyone else who watched the performance, she has nothing but praise to give him. Before she’s even done talking, Sebastian is excusing himself from his seat and is squeezing between Rachel and the seat in front of her to walk down the aisle to get back stage as fast as possible.

The six-year-old Peter falls back into the dirt again with a ‘harrumphf’ noise and a long sigh.
