Users acceptance testing
Why do we need acceptance testing? User acceptance testing is carried out during the final phase of the software development life cycle in order to validate modifications that were introduced against original requirements. This process is necessary as any change can bring about issues that can be detected only while using the system. That is why the UAT is performed by actual users. The real-world scenarios are simulated to see how the system behaves and responds. This functional testing technique checks whether the application corresponds to its end-users requirements and expectations. Such compliance is crucial, as any system is initially created for customers, therefore their estimation has the highest value. If the application is not easy-to-use for clients, it may cost you money and reputation. Thus, to make sure you are creating a good product, answer the question “Do we produce the results that customers want?”. Here you have to put users' interests at the top. Confirm that the application is capable of solving the customers' problems and satisfying their needs. Read the full article
