Hey, guys! Have you ever heard of User Based Casting? Well, in short, it's a website made up of fans of book series who are also actors. On this website, you can "audition" for certain roles in book to movie adaptations such as "The Uglies" and "Maximum Ride." The mission of the website is to get casting director's attention for when these stories are adapted to either the silver screen or the TV screen. There are some great actors, and you can audition yourself! You can also vote in each voting style for your favorite actors and favorite videos for each character! It's a great way to see these stories come to life and to help young fandom actors! Go ahead and join up to join in the fun! And, seeing as how I'm writing fan fiction scripts for a TON of upcoming fandom films (The rest of the TMI movies, the rest of the VA movies, the Chemical Gardens trilogy, etc.) and I might be actually casting for the roles to do short videos and fan fiction films, this is most likely where I'll be going to do my casting! BUT, without enough user activity, this site won't be able to continue much longer! Please help keep this awesome project going and SPREAD THE WORD! Use #SaveUBC on all social media that you can to spread the word, encourage new users, and get this site back up and running!!!

How User Based Casting Works!
The goal of User Based Casting is simple: to score one of our members an audition for a leading role in an upcoming YA book-to-film adaptation. To qualify, users film and upload a set of required monologues for their desired character. Fellow members critique these audition videos and offer suggestions for improvement.
