Maximum ride was "girl power" heavy it would interesting to see the story without that angle. Fang's personality might change a little depending on the point in the series but in the earlier novels I was read them as more feminine so maybe there wouldnt be much of a difference.

I know some people have head cannon have genderswapped them and we see alot of non-binary Max and trans girl Fang. It would be interesting to see hyper masculine Max... very weird but interesting.
