Since SDV updated, I have a confession to make. In my first playthrough, when Jodi's kids repeatedly said their dad was coming back from the war soon, I assumed he was dead and never coming back. Okay, and have you spoken At All about how people using white canes are treated or about genuinely any accessibility issue the blind/VI community faces? Have you talked about Any mobility aids, really?

Okay, and do you identify as physically disabled broadly or only when you're trying to be in cripplepunk? Have you aligned yourself with Any of Us beyond semantics arguing on the internet? Have you talked about any disability issues at all that aren't about your specific mental health diagnosis? How have you approached and reconciled the social, political, and legislative differences in how physically disabled people are treated versus mentally ill people?
Otherwise what it sounds like is you using other disabled people as tools and tokens in your arguments and that you don't actually give a shit about any of them.

Cripplepunk does exclude some physically disabled people
If someone is physically disabled but Does Not agree with cripplepunk's ethos and goals, then they are not cripplepunk. This is because cripplepunk is not a "community", it is a political movement. Phys disabled people who aren't cripplepunk are not being implied to be abled. They are still physically disabled. They just Aren't cripplepunk.
Some of you seem to be under the assumption that people saying you aren't cripplepunk is saying you're "not disabled" which is not, actually, what is being said. If you are mentally ill/ND but NOT physically disabled, then you simply aren't cripplepunk because it violates THREE of the rules and principles of cpunk. Insisting that you do belong here also violates those same 3 rules and principles: that cpunk is FOR physically disabled people (NOT disabled people as a whole), that cpunk does NOT pander to the able-bodied, and also speaking over people in cpunk (because Tai "fuck you and your functioning legs" Trewhella created the movement and EXPLICITLY stated they did not want able-bodied NDs in here). You literally do not agree with the basis of the movement but want to say you represent the movement and are in it.
I haven't seen anybody mention it so I'll say it. Tai died in 2017. That's only 6 years ago.
In less than a decade you've started speaking over someone who can no longer speak. You've decided what Tai "really meant" and what Tai's movement is "actually about". You have put words in their mouth and then also claimed that things "evolve" as if people have even finished grieving them.
Tai committed suicide, successfully. You cannot say that Tai was ignorant of or didn't understand how serious mental health is. You need to understand how deeply disrespectful it is to be trampling all over something they created so soon after their death and deciding you get to decide things now, including trying to decide what Tai's thoughts and opinions were or would be especially when none of you doing this even knew them.

While we're on the topic of "solidarity," I have to say that I have been more "invalidated" and had both my physical and mental health struggles minimized by able-bodied mentally ill/ND individuals than I have by literally anyone else, including fully abled people and medical professionals. Just so we're on the same page.
