Looks like the tomb was unfinished when the guy died. They didn't usually finish the decoration (or even the chambers) if that happened. Just bunged the person in and moved on.

Reading Wikipedia articles on Old Kingdom/etc pharaohs is so fascinating because like take the fiasco with Teti and Userkare and Pepi I like Teti's page says "we dunno who the fuck Userkare was man idk was he another son a nephew a random dude fuck if anyone knows. Maybe he murdered Teti but like maybe not." Userkare's is like "yeah Teti might be his father?? Maybe?? Idk maybe he was a brother. He might not have been a usurper but maybe he was. He has a seal and maybe a mallet that's something go Userkare maybe?" And then Pepi's is just full-out "THE USURPER USERKARE WHO HAD TOTES MURDERED THE SHIT OUT OF TETI, WHO WAS ALSO TOTALLY HIS FATHER. WHAT AN ASSHOLE AM I RIGHT" it's amazing truly
