trick or treat and ushitsuki? happy halloween 😈😈
come trick-or-treat in my inbox requesting ficcies and I’ll either treat you to some fluff or humor or trick you with a horribly twisted sad AU (I’ll use a random generator to pick trick or treat)
Trick
There was dirt under Wakatoshi’s fingernails, and other, less savory substances. He picked at them nervously while he waited, clinging to any distraction from the atrocity he had just committed. It would all be worth it in the end, he told himself. It would be worth the tainting of his soul when his world was set to rights once more.
The ingredients had been hard to find and harder to get his hands on. Things like the blood of an enemy and the wish of an innocent. Other, more tangible things like bat wings and lizard tails had been easier, if harder to explain his need for them. Wakatoshi was known to be a force for good and morality in the world, so his suppliers had trusted him.
They would never trust him again if they knew.
Wakatoshi picked at his fingernails, trying to push the thought away. It was Tsukishima, after all, and Tsukishima was worth it. He was worth the searching in forbidden books, the digging into worlds that were too dark and too seedy for good, upstanding people like Wakatoshi. He was worth the sacrifice, the spell sketched in blood on Wakatoshi’s kitchen floor and the star made out of candle wax and ink. He was worth becoming something horrible for.
Wakatoshi picked at his fingernails and waited. Finally, when midnight came and his nails were bloody stumps, the figure on the table stirred. Tsukishima opened his eyes for the first time in his un-life and looked around. His eyes caught Wakatoshi’s and he frowned.
“What have you done?”
