Trial of a recipe I’m developing. A cake with the flavors of one of my favorite drinks: a London Fog - an Earl Grey tea latte with lavender and vanilla. I started with a base recipe from @kingarthurflour (originally a lemon cake) and inspired by my favorite @preppykitchen recipe (lavender and lemon pound cake). This cake is infused with Earl Grey tea, lavender, and orange, and topped with a vanilla glaze. I’m sure others have tried this flavor combo before, but intentionally haven’t looked since I wanted to figure out the recipe on my own.
