“The mission is too dangerous.” Aella’s voice was hard -- she did not even look up from checking her equipment. “You should remain here, captain. Your priority is to your ship. We will be able to handle it.”

@uss-camelot-crew wants a starter
“Captain Elliot Finn...I’m so glad you could finally come aboard the Hamilton.“
uss-camelot-crew replied to your post “since everyone is already participating in sinday i just wanted to let...”
The world needs more tops <3
agreed
"How about you and I get dinner together during shore leave? If you don't already have plans of course."
“Y-You an’ me?” Joanna blushed, looking down at her shoes, “I-I’d like that, Elliot. A-A lot.”

“An absolute pleasure to meet you, Joanna.” Elliot chirped, giving her hand a firm shake. He had really been meaning to introduce himself to the rather eye catching young woman, but never found the moment to do so. He felt a little bad interrupting her book. Elliot couldn’t help himself, and leaned around Joanna a little to try and catch a glimpse of the title.
“Romeo and Juliet? A classic, without a doubt, but I much prefer A MidSummer’s Night Dream.” Elliot chuckled. “Please, just call me Elliot. Or Finn, if you’d prefer.”
“B-Believe me, Captain, th’pleasure s’all mine.” She remarked shyly, returning his shake with eyes. He spoke so nobly, like a prince but far more.. Like a fairy tale. He was charming, handsome. Just... [ [ w o w ] ]. As he leaned closer she found her breath HITCHING in her throat. She did not expect him to lean so close and thus the action resulted in her already pink cheeks growing even pinker by the second.
“A-A yes’m, sure. It’s one a’ my fav’rites. A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream is a close secon’, I can assure ya.” Joanna replied, holding the book with both hands now by her lap as her eyes remained fixed on his, “If.. If y’don’ min’ me sayin’, I’d like t’call y’Elliot.”
"Hey, have we met before? You seem very familiar."
“Do I?” He frowns. Usually placing a name to a face is easy, yet this one isn’t ringing any bells. His mind is drawing a blank, and there’s only a bubbling sense of guilt where recognition should be. “Like, on a scale of one to ten— with one being maybe we passed each other once on a street and ten being definitely had a conversation with you before— how familiar are we talking here?”
@uss-camelot-crew, continued from here
“No worries, it’s not like it’s hard.” Elliot chirped with a bright smile, bouncing on his toes a little. “It’s just a long walk up this mountain side program I have set up. Nothing too difficult- just something to tire out V’Le before dinner.”
His enthusiasm appeared to be endless -- it was something that was always fascinating to her. Rather... impressive, if she were being honest. She disagreed with the assertion that hiking was not hard, for she had a feeling it would be harder than expected ( life was rarely easier than one thought ).
Why has he asked formy presence? She presumed she would find out if she were to accept. But, after all, he was her captain...
“Alright, sir.”
