Some early Twisted Wonderland OC sprite edits made for when the game released the English version

Characters(from top to bottom in the final picture):

•Mazarin: 2nd year, Octavinelle, based on the shell (I know it appears and is mentioned). Her unique magic allows her to mimic voices and sounds

•Ussun: 1st year, Diasomnia, based off of Yzma. He was known as a potions protégé and skills prior to attending Night Raven College, but he desires to become the best magician of all skills.

•Vartan: 2nd year, Pomefiore, based off of the enchantress from beauty and the beast. The enchantresses unique magic gets passed down every generation with an overblot themed curse, which allows Vartan to remember some of the previous “enchantresses” magic.

•Oz Yuu, 1st year, based off of Oswald the Lucky rabbit and is my main character. As head prefect of the Ramshackle dorm Oz finds himself looking after a certain cat-like monster. In his free time he enjoys making automations based on animals

Name: Ussun

Debut: Donkey Kong (Game Boy)

A grumpy walking rock... sometimes it’s all you need. Ussun walks, and Mario can stand on it, of course. Were you expecting more? That wasn’t enough for you? Well, that’s too bad. Ussun does one thing, but does it better than anyone else in the business. And I’ll have you know it doesn’t charge anything for its services! 

The Mario Wiki calles Ussun a “walking Thwimp”, but I’m not really seeing it. Not even the Japanese names are similar at all. I like to think of it as a related, but still distinct member of the family. Also, the file of this art of it calls it “Chunk”, and that’s wonderful. That should be its English name!

Just not really a fan of how the art makes it look like a walking cork. Where they scared too make it gray or something?
