So excited for this! Let me share you what will happen in UST on the 25th. :)

Every Thomasian is required or rather encouraged to wear 19th century costume as a part of the closing ceremony of the Quadricentennial celebration of UST and the start of the countdown for Neocentennial celebration. 

Isn't it cool to feel like you're living in Old Manila and seeing people wear their "Maria Clara" costumes all around UST? I just really hope that everyone will participate. My problem now is, where can I find my own costume? *sighs*

Paskuhan 2011: Welcoming Fifth Century

This Paskuhan, by far, was the one I liked the most. Rewind to four years ago, I was a frosh feeling witless about everything around UST. Going back to present, there was I standing in the middle of Parade Grounds, officially called senior, readying to leave my university.

Major part of the reason why this year's enjoyable was because of my high school friends -- people who never ceased to celebrate the annual university kick-off party since we entered college.

What made me in awe, as always, was the most awaited pyromusical display. This time it happened earlier than previous years. Thumbs up if you had goosebumps while Rolling In The Deep part was playing. ;) Overall, it was magical, beautiful, amazing, extraordinary! I really wanted to capture the lights sparkling in front of me, but aside from being little familiarized with my new camera, watching them explode with my own eyes was more significant.

I can't find a reason not to be amused with the majestic aura of the Pontifical and Royal Santo Tomas. One thing I know, it's one of a kind. And if ever I'd redo college again, I'll go to UST to experience more of its wonders.
