If you don’t mind me asking, which running vest did you get? I’ve been searching for one with bottles on the front like this for a while.

I have taken some photos so you can see the branding. I really recommend this vest. It does not bounce around and has plenty of pockets. It has space for a bladder in the back as well as the two soft bottles in the front. Really comfortable even on a hot day and so easy to get on and off with the quick release catch in the front. A fellow runner recommended it to me when she came across me on a trail adjusting my old vest to stop the bounce. I ordered my uswe from Wiggle but you could probably go straight to the manufacturer,I think they are made in Sweden.

I thought it would never end. It was like the last half kilometre of a marathon. Eventually the end fell into sight and I packed up my desk and left the office. I was off for a walk to the mall, it was a lovely day for a walk and I was on a mission to take my NB trail shoes back to the store and see if they had something else I could try. It is a shame, I really like the stability and cushioning of the New Balance shoes but the tongue jabbed into my ankle so much it was left tender for days. I tried lacing them different ways to no avail. I also experienced back pain for the first time whilst running in these shoes. It may not be the shoes but I didn't want to experiment with that little joy. They swapped my shoes out for some Hoka trail shoes. They are stable but not nearly as cushioned as the New Balance shoes. I will let you know how they go. Hubby picked me up from the mall and when we got home I was excited to see that my Wiggle order had arrived. Lots of lovely new running gear to try. I will let you know how that goes too. Hope your Friday afternoon is short.
