Series of Utapri drawings!!

Self-inserts are a tricky topic particularly online and I’m a little ashamed to admit that I have self-inserted myself into many fandoms in the past. However, this is a first attempt posting it online! Started as drawing myself in the Uta no Prince sama art style then I spiralled xD

The first is a drawing of myself in the Utapri art style (if I was a character I think I’d be a dance choreographer), second is a male version of myself in the art style (as an idol) and third is me with my two best boys Natsuki and Ranmaru recreating the Maji Love Legend Star scene with Ren, Haruka and Van (because I’m trash).

Thank you for showing interest in our project! We’re very glad to have you.

The Utapri Flashbang is a project created by four fans who want to promote Uta no Prince-sama along with the help of the talented authors and artists within the fandom.

Utapri has been around for a while now but with the release of it’s rhythm game, it’s popularity has risen and we get new fans every day. Many fans got their start through the video games, some through the anime and others through Shining Live. Many, like myself, got their start through the anime, which led to playing Shining Live through the Japanese server. It wasn’t until the release of the global server that I was able to connect with other Utapri fans. I know many of the other admins are in the same boat.

With this project, I’d like to make connections through that love of the characters. I’d like to create new fan content for those newer fans, or for the older ones who have loved Utapri a little longer than most. New fics to read, whether they’re based off the games, anime or the events in the rhythm game, along with new fan art that captivates the scenes from those fics.

I hope that any artist or author reading this becomes a participant of this project. I’d like to give you an opportunity to shine within our fandom, both to promote yourselves as the talented person you are and to promote our fandom for those who are on the fence about joining us.
