as much as i love komahina non-despair fanfiction, i hate how they always make komaeda viciously bully hinata. like, in chapter 4 he was being mean because he found out that the entire class were TERRORISTS who ENDED THE WORLD and the main reason he lashed out so much toward hinata was that despite that, and despite the fact that hinata was talentless, he still cared for him. so why the hell is he ‘90s movie style bullying hinata in fanfiction?? like he’d just be passive aggressive and make a bunch slightly mean jibes at best, he doesn’t act anywhere near the way he does in chapter 4 in utdp, anyway. and people are writing him acting WORSE than he does in chapter 4 for some reason.
Far and away, my most successful post on this blog was my Miku Day artwork that I posted last year! However, that drawing was insanely rushed and I had to cut a lot of corners to get it done and uploaded on time, which resulted in an awkward-looking piece that I'm not very proud of. Since Miku Day is upon us once again, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to revisit that same concept, but this time with more time and effort put into it, and I'm so much happier with the result!
Tsumugi cosplaying as Kagamiku and Hifumi recreating Popipo with a Diet Coke were just too good to pass up
THEY R SO SWEET WAAAAAAAAAA
POV: you're a Hifumi appreciator who had a rough week and needs a pick-me-up from their comfort character 🧡
Kirumi don't say it like that unless you really mean it

I have seen someone insisting convince that komahina is really toxic with nagito's agressive mocking toward Hajime in UTDP
I am pretty sure that nagito ever mention that he never disliked Hajime as a person
Using that as alibi to bad mouthing them by saying they are never be a good ship or their relationship is destructive
Really curious about your intepretation about nagito's mockery toward Hajime's status as reserve course student
Nagito sees Hajime as the same as himself, a stepping stone to assist those more capable. He doesn't hate Reserve course students much and wouldn't be outright aggressive to them, he just applies the same beliefs he does to himself to them. There's a mix of projection and world views going on with it, but again, I don't think he would be as out right aggressive as people think. He views himself as the same status as the reserve course students, so when they do something more bold than he would he thinks it's courageous or that they must have confidence.
Most notably talking to Main course students as a Reserve course student. But this also includes thinking Hajime ever having the idea he's on the same level as the Ultimates is absurd. On some level Nagito is jealous of his capability to be so bold, on the other hand he's confused by how Hajime could ever possibly think he's on the same level as the ultimates and refuses the idea. Again, he views the Reserve course students practically the same as himself status wise.
Basically, it's just simple Nagito absolute beliefs and projection going on with the Reserve course students. He isn't aggressive to Reserve course students, he just applies the same thinking of them that they're meant to be there to assist the more capable shine that he does to himself. The reason he's even aggressive in Chapter 4 at all is because he finds out they're terrorists and uses the fact Hajime is a reserve course student for mostly lashing out emotionally.
Literally nothing in UTDP comes across as Nagito being aggressive to him personally. They're mostly just clashing somewhat trying to understand each other, Nagito being strong in his beliefs, Hajime not having his absolute beliefs and being confused or disagreeing, but for the most part getting along. Their events end off on a note of friendship, and all the events are displays of their differing views trying to understand each other. Nagito never specifically Mocks Hajime that's just how he sees the world with the hierarchy as fact, those are his beliefs. They get along and can grow to fully understand each other with time, they clash a bit but they can get there. With the amount we get it's a nice display of the essential things to know about what their relationship would be like. It shows how Nagito views Reserve course students the same way he seems himself and how it's true to his absolute beliefs, it shows an interesting dynamic between Hajime and Nagito clashing but caring, and it shows both Nagito and Hajime getting along. It's pretty cool!
Anyways, if anyone reads this and says they're destructive they probably need to go back to english class lol.
