Say hello to our newest foster and the third UTHealth Safety Cat, Kumail! On Friday, I got a call from some coworkers that they’d found a kitten under one of their cars and they asked if I could help. Before I was even off the phone, they’d caught him! They named him Kumail and brought him to me, and with no where else to put him, I wrapped him in my jacket. Apparently that was the right thing to do, as after a half hour of nervously hiding in the fluff of my jacket, he calmed down and took a nap!! . As you can see, Kumail had a great time meeting everyone at the office on Friday! I really can’t get over how chilled out he is- he was so happy to be held and petted by everyone and he just napped in my lap for four of the five hours until we went home! He is now making himself right at home with the other kitties- you’d never know he wasn’t already a house cat! . Sweet Kumail is not part of a rescue at this time, so we will be footing the bill for his vaccinations and neuter on our own. The good news is that he’s in great health AND he already has an adopter lined up! He’s going to be one spoiled boy!! . . #safetycat #ehs #ehscat #uthealth #myuthealth #catnap #sleepykitty #pretzelkitty #toebeans #toebeantuesday #sweetkitty #adoptdontshop #fosteringsaveslives #spayandneuter #cutiekumail (at University of Texas Health Science Center at Houst) https://www.instagram.com/p/CFvHcD3p_xt/?igshid=lu0gl0gx3t4e
