The words rang in his head rather vividly, the drowsiness was setting in but despite everything the born hunter moved along with those remaining. Chatter and small talk where kept to a low, this region was unknown after all uncharted and many where on edge about it. The looks of worry where carried here and there from one to another, glances where given to comrades when even the slightest sound of a twig was snapped sending many to sit upright as they waited for the worse.

Something though caught the young boy's eyes, stopping the horse he was perched on his features became striken with awe. Those speaking in native tongue stopped as he held up his scarred hand, "I hear something..." he mumbled those remaining tried to disregard it saying perhaps he had been awake for so long he was just losing touch with realistic things. Though, the sound became louder as noble steed moved, through the trees that skimmed the sky he could see something.

It caused his heart to ache, his face to become pained more then anything-- those that dared to chatter about him losing touch where told to shut their mouths by his violent tongue. Eren's chest felt so heavy, his heart lurching and surely he couldn't of been going crazy but surely he felt like it as he swallowed the pit in his throat. "Hey, Mikasa" looking to the steel eye girl, something cracked as he spoke gently "smell the air...tell me what that is"

Through the green, there was blue the smell wafting in the air was distinctly that of the ocean, that of water. A symbolic sign of freedom, one that kept him moving through the near fated dances with death. His voice sped up, the pitch increasing as he seemed nervous but at the same time joyous "it's what we longed for" now, all there was to do was go close to what the three had fought to see and now found by some game of chance.
