i dont know why i drew them so polite. i mean they're assassins i wouldnt expect them to have such manners!! they can get cute little uniforms later i just drew them in their normal fits today... BAT designs :-)
headcanon: some of the people we haven't seen in a long time that had specific roles (Derapchu, Kier and Dev, Reddoons) are considered missing, but they deliberately made themselves go missing for different reasons (i.e. Derap feeling like he's not good enough for BAT/stress that came with BAT and Kier/Dev wanting to get away from Boosfer). the exception is Branzy because he isn't missing. he's living with Clown in the Nether.
additional headcanon: after Branzy moved in with Clown, Boosfer moved into his old house because he didn't have anywhere else to go and needed a place. i think this one is canon but since we dont know where Branzy went canonically, im counting it as one lol
(btw i love your responses to people's headcanons, mine included!!)
i'm happy you like my answers !! i always worry that people don't like what i post and decide to not ask anything ever again.... thank you :D
the server is a dangerous place, where everyone is in danger of dying no matter what and with only one life, most of them would rather go live somewhere else where it's safer and less chaotic
some of them leave because they no longer have a place in unstable (like derapchu and reddoons), while some others want to start again from scratch (like kier and dev). hadn't they left the server, who knows what would've happened to them or to the story
maybe derap could've prevented the fall of BAT, or at least keep leo from going mad. maybe reddoons would've been over throned by his people after lettucek showed them what their lives could be. maybe kier and dev would've gotten killed by wemmbu after finding out the identity of the invisible knight
also, boosfer acting like a homeless dude (he is) and stealing branzy's house is really funny if you think about it. canonically i think branzy is with clownpierce, either that or he's in the mines because branzy said uu!branzy loves the mines /hj
So this is the 3rd time im writing this because i keep. accidentally. deleting it.
so!
I liked the new spoke video, particularly the concept of the hunters chasing spoke. It feels like a very natural progression of stakes to once have enemies of invisible, impenetrable players that hide their identities and then progress to a group of enemies that don't have any identity to hide at all. And plus theyre more skilled, geared, and effectively immortal too. Terrifying!
I think we can all agree that the one who sent the hunters was jamato, because who else would be able to send immortal players and pay off that kind of sum of money to sirpig, as well as have the kind of knowledge on spoke to copy his shield and request his chestplate from him (huh i just realised that people who were his friends both gave him items that he could use to protect himself)
But i also think that mapicc is with him, working against spoke. I dont have much evidence for it but just the fact that mapicc is missing and jamato decides to start attacking spoke, the timing is just too perfect. Plus, i think that if mapicc sees that jamato is alive he will realise just how manipulative spoke really is and he will leave. Mapicc already has a strained relationship with spoke, as shown through the very few lines he does speak (and doesn’t) in recent episodes (to mind comes the idea of jumper as a replacement for him, leaving with jamato se easily, his silence when zam confronted spoke about how he lied about his stalker). Yeah plus the hunters were wearing spokes shield pattern that mapicc gave him?? Dead giveaway much
jumperwho you have so much wrong with you. She is such an underrated character. She is a backstabber who is only loyal to only one group, and that is her spies, who are equally loyal to her back. She works for people who treat her terribly (spoke, leo, wifies, parrot) and she can do nothing but grin and bear because her spies would be compromised otherwise. She wants to follow the principles of truth seeking but somehow the people she associates with have her lying and lying and confusing the truth even more. Shes now with spoke, back to her regular job, and her spies are not in immediate danger anymore, but they could be. Aaahh poor jumper you are so fascinating.
Spoke here is surprisingly moral. Once introduced to the possibility that spoke is not the only victim of the hunters, he is incredibly motivated to save the others who were kidnapped. This is such a shift from his attitude just a few episodes prior - 2 eps ago he wouldn’t have given a damn! I think this morality comes from the fact that he has been socialising more recently, meeting up with parrot must have done wonders to his mental state.
Yeah i think thats all the points i had, prob will add sth more but this is lowk the 3rd time i wrote this so idrc rn.
Oh my god The Director is making Parrot attach himself and creating connections to each core member of BAT and then proceeds to rip them all away from him. This sh!t is vile holy fu@k
thoughts?
TW: LOUD RINGING, spoilers for director arc !!!
Since Derapchu still haven't returned even though BAT is back do you have any headcanons about where he might be?
the director arc was insanely stressful for all members involved, and it's pretty obvious all of BAT was affected by everything that happened
as for derapchu, he already thought low of himself and i feel like everything that happened, including the time he spent as a guard in paragon, made him believe he didn't belong in BAT
maybe he went somewhere far away from the main server so he wouldn't have to deal with the aftermath of the situation and whatever his friends were going through after the events
im rewatching spokes bat arc and wow
the fact that leo introduced spoke to bat by trapping him, leading spoke to immediately assume he was being betrayed, and that leo was being sold out.
analysins leo, this was clearly a power play, which is weird to do when youre friends with someone. but we have to think in context leo had just gotten out of the director arc, which my god had such a strong impact on his character.
leos going into this interaction with him not trusting spoke at all, which could be attributed to the fact that he felt betrayed by his old teammates (what im trying to say is that bat kinda imploded on itself when wifies decided to get up to directorial activities, and bats relationships heavily strained, leading leo to be more wary to friendships in general).
now he's got precautions to letting new members join, but theyre kinda ass tbh. missions are not going to prevent malicious players at all, it just lets them understand the inner workings of bat better. leo is not the brains of bat, lets just say. he's always been more emotional, just as a person.
maybe the reason he asked spoke to join bat at all was because he was feeling how empty bat was with 3 members gone, and wanted to restore bat again, yet couldnt allow for randos to join both for security reasons and to reassure himself that he still had people willing to be loyal for him.
and from spokes pov, he's quite ecstatic to be affiliated with bat, something that itches his want for community and excitement. the idea of BAT, a specialised spy team that assasinates high ranking players and collects all information on he server is so up his alley its crazy. of course he'd do anything to be part of this
i also think he's really lonely at this point. he was just hunted by the people that he did try to form a cult with (he is in the wrong for that, completely, just making that clear) but that clearly told him that he was wrong, evil, and he was not wanted. and then leo came in and asked him if he could join his super amazing everything-spoke-ever-liked team and thats why i think spoke tried so hard to get leos approval.
spoke in this part of the story knows that everyone thinks that he's evil, so he acts like it. thats why i think he chooses to go about the missions in the most scheming evil way possible, and generally why he keeps such a silly moustache twirling "evil" persona.
spoke orchestrating the wemmbu v flame always manages to be one of those aura giving moments to spoke. it really lends credence to his "schemer" reputation and makes you wonder what else he'd manage to do.
and wow he's in BAT! this can only end well
