I feel like a lot of people don’t realise what unstable is actually about it’s not about the wars, it’s not about the fights, it’s about the characters. It’s about how Wemmbu craves power travels far in to the fralands to find that power and when he finally actives that power he feels empty.

It’s about flame basically going through the 5 stages of grieve after finding out about Wemmbu supposed death. About how he goes through so much just to feel power full. And doesn’t realise how many people he hurts in the progress

It’s about spoke being all silly but also a master manipulator in the progress how he knows how many people he has hurt but just brushes it of as a prank

It’s about parrot sacrificing himself for other people always trying to save everyone but not realising that he is destroying himself in the progress. It’s about him so strongly believing that wifies is still in there failing to realise that wifies is dead and only the director is left over

Unstable isn’t about the wars and the strength it’s about the story’s the characters tell

the gameplay for ch5 was really peak guys,, i don't think i ever enjoyed platformer mechanics as much as i enjoyed it in here. like im not really a video games enjoyer in that i can't stand grinding and doing one section of the game over and over because i keep on failing (im not what one would call "good" at games) and thats why i tend to prefer story games and rpgs, but this chapter had me trying to do the platformer sections over and over, much more than i ever would in any other game. it was so fun!

i also liked how varied the gameplay mechanics were. we had the platformer, regular open world exploration, orange and purple soul modes, watering can and scissors puzzles and even climbing sections! that made ch5 feel so vast and made the dark world truly feel like a full fledged world, moreso than any other dark world we had previously. i think the only contender would be the cyber world, but the flower world absolutely mogs it due to the gameplay variance. another thing i really liked that added to the openness was the amount of locations we got and the art direction. the garden, wetlands, cliffs, castle - so mach variance! this dark world has multiple biomes!!! its so cool

flowery was really hard to fight but i actually liked the challenge! i won't lie, i used a mod to reduce his attack by half when i was fighting him so that i could finish the game in a reasonable amount to time, but i really want to go back and practise so that i manage to be able to beat him without needing to rely on mods!

i haven't defeated pink yet so im not gonna talk about that yet, but HATSUNE MIKU (the chapter is immediately the best one just because of miku)
