reading your text posts makes me want to read all the more obscure doom patrol runs

good!! you don’t have to read any of the 2000s era doom patrol stuff except 2009 (negative woman shows up briefly as a black lantern, its very fun) but PLEASE read new doom patrol. all of it is just arani begging her team to find niles while they keep getting distracted by being superheroes. also definitely read pollacks run. like. its a cool comic written by a trans woman and its a shame its not more popular

“Star Child”

Yesterday was my last night at Woods Hole for the summer! But here’s something cool I learned! If you shine a UV flashlight at jellies and polyps that emit GFP (green fluorescent protein), they will light up pretty brightly! I tried it out here in this patch of seaweed... unfortunately couldn’t find anything too special. I think my light is purple, but not ultra-violet, sadly. Anyways, I look forward to finding all sorts of new and cool marine life at Roger Williams!
