Darcy takes hold of him, left hand curling her fingers around his wrist, right as far as they can go around his bicep. For now, she just holds him like that.
“As you know, food is graded on quality, and that includes meat. Technically, beef isn’t graded with a letter, but ‘grade a’ has come to mean, colloquially, the good stuff.”
Here, now, she squeezes his bicep.
“Muscle becomes meat becomes beef. Therefore, most of the time, when a midgardian is talking about beefcakes, someone being beefy, grade a meat, etcetera, blah blah, they’re typically talking about them being muscular. There’s also, like, the metaphor of sex and food, but I’m pretty sure Asgardians are on board with that, too.”
