On October 18, we take to the streets for No Kings 2.0. 👑 ❌
Nashville will be loud, powerful, and impossible to ignore. But this isn’t just Nashville. This date will echo nationwide.
May 3rd will be a protesting march! We are excited to meet you all at Public Square and march for our rights! We will be carrying all the signs made on May 1st. We are excited to spend these days community building, collation building, and protesting. Let’s draw the line with this administration!
From 50501 Be safe out there
The 50501 "Never Again Is Now" protest occurring across the nation on Apr 19th WILL be happening in Nashville! This will be a SIDEWALK PROTEST on West End Ave in front of Centennial Park, lining both sides of the street and wrapping around to other streets as the crowd grows larger. Note that the Nashville Earth Day festival will be filling up Centennial Park on the same day.
Local folks from various orgs have stepped up to organize this, creating an AD-HOC COMMITTEE specifically for this event and spearheaded by a few friends in United Volunteers of Tennessee (UVOTN). More information about the national event, an official online point of contact to reach out to, a form for volunteers to help out, and a full list of organizations who are helping in any way will be coming in future updates over the next few days.

Looking for something fun to do this Sunday 9/14 from 2PM - 5PM? You're in luck because UVOTN.org has you covered!
Join us at Seven Oaks Park in South Nashville 3474 McGavock Pike where we will celebrate the diverse country we love and fight for with live music, food trucks, games, and more! This is a time for community members to get together and build the relationships that are the foundation for resisting fascism.
In addition to the food and good times, UVOTN is also using this event as a way to gather diapers for the Tennessee Justice Center Resource Fair so if you plan to attend and can afford the expense, please consider bringing diapers to donate.
** Please be aware that Google Maps will likely route you to the south entrance by the baseball fields - however, we will be on the north side of the park (off School Ln and closest to Murfreesboro Pike). Please use the following attendee guide to help with directions and what to expect when you arrive at the event **
