Some people may have expected him to react in disgust, to drop the thing and refuse to deal with it, but he doesn't. Why would he? He's not that cruel, and it... makes him think of...

The box is held up so he can look at the little creature inside of it closer. It's chewing slowly on a nice green leaf without a care in the world. It's been so long, he almost forgot what it was like... it isn't like he had done most of the hands-on work when caring for the tiny things... years ago now, but it's still a fond memory.

Little things he forgot to appreciate in his desire for fame.

He thinks he'll go and get a proper terrarium for it so it isn't stuck in this little container forever. It's what Blooky would want. Maybe caring for it will help soothe that small ache in his core of missing home and the people there.
