𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑪𝑹𝑶𝑾𝑫 𝑶𝑭 𝑴𝑶𝑹𝑻𝑨𝑳𝑺 fanning across the grassy slopes of central park babble to life ; their mingled cries & laughter harmonize with the static-laced music blasting loudly through the speakers decorating the wide meadows and no matter which way one turned , it seemed as if there was no shortage of fried snacks , trinkets for sale , or patriotic-themed pick-me-ups for all ages. the assault of scents & sounds is almost overwhelming but after centuries of specialized training , zaiden finds himself able to carefully extrapolate the numerous sensations coating his tongue with each careful inhale.
he weaves through the packed crowds with careful ease , taking care to keep from brushing past others too brusquely , lest an irritated mortal distract him from his responsibilities. to the naked eye , central park’s celebration had only begun. brilliant streamers in reds , whites , and blues laced through the leaf-laden branches of the large trees dotting the landscape & the pavement held streaks of patriotic chalk all over them , directing the naive & the unaware from stall to stall. while the night sky remained inky-black overhead , it feels as if the celebration had only begun.
the death dealer skirts around a particularly raucous group of mortals , blue hues narrowed into intent slits ; the air tastes off and , with a low sigh , he licks his lips. zaiden pauses for only a moment , balancing on the balls of his feet before deciding that perhaps it is in his best interest to turn around and re-check the perimeter once more for suspicious activity. tattooed hands adjust his shirt and just as he twists on his heel , another figure collides directly into him. a low hiss of annoyance escapes him , an irate flash turning cerulean hues into a blazing shade of sapphire. ❝ christ watch your goddamn step. ❞
UNDERWORLD FM PRESENTS EVENT 001: FOURTH OF JULY EXTRAVAGANZA.
BLISTERING HEAT & THICK HUMIDITY often plague the fine streets of New York City during the height of summer, leaving every borough’s residents seeking refuge in air-conditioned spaces while tourist season begins to reach its peak. The streets remain packed in spite of the soaring temperatures -- and with the patriotic holiday of July 4th just around the corner, the City that Never Sleeps has opted to provide its population of 8.4 million with a five-day long celebration. Founded entirely by the local government, Central Park will be hosting a plethora of events leading up to the grand finale on Saturday, July 4th. Facebook pages dedicated to the event have begun popping up left and right alongside promoted Instagram ads & targeted Snapchat notifications. With so much fanfare decked out in all shades of red, white, and blue, it seems as if every borough will be flocking to the city to celebrate the U-S-of-A.
While the mortals rejoice & revel in the prospect of free food and drink, the supernatural world lurks with enhanced worry. The event itself is scheduled to run from Wednesday, July 1st until 11:59 PM on Sunday, July 5th. The proximity of Central Park to the safe-house for Aleksander’s coven poses a risk for the inevitable throng of mortals littering the streets. Large crowds are often a recipe for disaster -- and while Aleksander, himself, is unwilling to strike a firm hand to prevent his children of the night from indulging themselves amongst their human counterparts during such flagrant celebration, there lingers a hesitance within the undead king. He decrees that all vampires who wish to socialize amongst the humans are meant to exercise the utmost self-control. While no concrete punishment has been stated, the lingering threat of his wrath hangs overhead.
And to make matters worse for Aleksander’s affairs, the full moon is intended to show itself on the last evening of the celebration. July 5th is meant to bring about the moon which calls so loudly to the creatures the vampires have been meant to subjugate and the gravity of this matter isn’t lost on him. The Liberation, after all, is a scattered affair. Lycans will surely be in attendance throughout the week -- if not to simply to socialize, but to keep a close eye upon the coven and its inner workings. Central Park is an integral vantage point and with the strength of the full moon so close, the lycans are given an uncanny upper-hand this time around. Younger lycans and pups are sure to experience an involuntary change on Sunday evening -- and both sides of the underworld battle are poised to leap into action under the eye of those who are blind to the darkness lurking so close by.

Hello everyone! We are very excited to announce our FIRST EVENT at UNDERWORLDFM! Our event will begin on 12 AM EST Wednesday, July 1st and will last all the way up until 11:59 PM EST on Sunday, July 5th. We ask that all current threads be put on hold and saved in the drafts throughout our event! This is an event that will take place on the dash, so please feel free to post starters using our starter tag #uwfmstarter as well as our event tag #uwfmevent:001 ! to make matters easier, please find the itinerary for the celebration below:
Wednesday July 1st: Barbecue begins in Central Park at 6 PM and will last until 3 AM. There will be various barbecue vendors from local restaurants available and all options will be available. There will be a biergarten open for all adults over the age of 21.
Thursday July 2nd: An open-air market will be available from 6 PM through 2 AM; all vendors are local creators and businesses from the city itself. There will be an outdoor concert throughout the evening with local talents performing. Starting at midnight, the stage will be open for attendees to perform and play karaoke.
Friday July 3rd: The city is hosting free classes throughout the park, including Paint Nite under the stars, Zumba classes, Pottery classes, and more. All of them are open to the public. There will be free food and ice cream available, as well. At the end of the night, there will be a screening of a popular movie on a large screen at the center of Central Park.
Saturday July 4th: At sundown, the fireworks show begins. It will begin with a concert from a few up and coming artists. There will be vendors for food available as well as merchandise up for purchase. All proceeds will go to Public Works projects. At 10 PM, the fireworks show begins. Once the show concludes, there will be an open-air block party throughout the park.
Sunday July 5th: With the full moon directly after the Fourth of July, the celebration continues with one more barbecue and open-air market; with a biergarten available and numerous local businesses congregating, the event is meant to bolster the community after a celebration. The five-day-long festival comes to an end with a few raffles at midnight.
The festival had been going on for a few nights now, and even with the moon hanging low in the sky Zacharie found himself in the midst of the crowds once again. Originally he hadn’t believed that he would have enjoyed the city’s festival as much as he had, but he was a little sad to see that the final night had come. He’d been wandering about for a few hours now, taking in some of the things that he had missed earlier in the week. As he was inspecting one of the booths, selling a variety of little trinkets, a familiar scent reached his nose.
Pulling himself away from the booth to investigate. The lycan couldn’t help but smile as his gaze landed on the familiar vampire heiress. He knew better though than to just go over to her. Surely she would have a set of guard dogs somewhere close by just waiting for someone like him to approach her. He paused, watching her for a moment before allowing himself to move toward her. After all she looked like she was a bit lost, making him think that she was in fact alone.
“Well well well, you seem to be lost again little princess.” He purred coming up behind the young vampire with a smirk. His guard was still up, just waiting for his brother or one of Aleksander’s other cronies to hop out of the crowd around them. “May I be of some assistance?”
UNDERWORLDFM PRESENTS: EVENT 002, THE MIDNIGHT ROSE.

TENSIONS CONTINUE TO RUN HIGH throughout the underworld, straining already-prickly relationships until the tenuous peace bows and groans underfoot with each precarious step. While the sweltering promise of summer begins to dwindle with autumn hanging in the horizon, the effort to locate the person--or creature--responsible for Malik Saad’s brutal bludgeoning has begun to wane like the moon, itself. Humans, fickle creatures that they are, have already lost hope in seeking out the culprit of such a violent and heinous crime (though many lycans have started to suspect that some of Aleksander’s most loyal soldiers have been acting from the shadows to compel the infamous NYPD from dropping the case altogether.) While the underbelly of the Big Apple continues to rumble with threats of a revolution dancing closely by, all parties are forced to come to a standstill. Aleksander has yet to make a public statement, instead finagling his way through his ranks of Death Dealers & most loyal advisors to whisper behind closed doors--and the masses? The masses have been forced to reckon with the mounting discomfort brewing closely at hand.
So when the continent’s most powerful vampire finally comes forward to his coven-members, it comes as an odd surprise that his announcement is that they take a moment to… unwind. Friday, August 14th--it will be time for the undead of New York City to rise and indulge in carnal desire for a moment in order to release the tension that is coiled so tightly within the manor’s bones. The Midnight Rose, a beautiful and upscale bar located in the heart of the East Village, is a vampire-owned establishment that attracts only the most elite of mortal clientele, curating an ambrosial palette of blood types for those interested in partaking in more sanguine desires. Not only that, but all drinks on the menu come in a blood-infused variety--all one has to do is lean in and order their drink with a scarlet letter.
Word travels fast in New York City--and when Aleksander’s decree for a night out on the town hits the asphalt, the Liberation can’t help but cast a sideways glance of disbelief upon the transpiring affair. It seems oddly frivolous for the king of the undead to call for such a horrifically self-indulgent evening. Nonetheless, such a night comes as rare as a lunar eclipse itself--and the lycans would be hard-pressed to pass up an evening to keep a closer eye on the enemy. The pack’s best & finest are tasked with infiltrating the club on the same evening in hopes of unearthing the hidden agenda that is surely lurking amongst the creatures of the night. Leechers & pack members alike are expected to tread cautiously, for they are wandering directly into vampire territory--but sometimes, the greatest rewards can only be reaped after an extraordinary risk.
So what will it be--a vodka-cranberry with a spritz of lemon, or a glass of whiskey, neat, with a scarlet letter?

Hello everyone! We are excited to announce our second event here at UNDERWORLDFM! This event is a little unique, as it will be a discord/dash event fusion! The event will launch on Friday, August 14th and will last until Sunday, August 16th at 11:59 PM. On Friday, August 14th, at 6 PM EST, we will activate an IN-CHARACTER CHANNEL in our discord server where all members will be welcome to post and interact in character, much like a discord role-play group! We encourage members to utilize the TUPPERWARE BOT to post as your characters. There will be ONE channel designated for the interactions and it will be open until the event ends on 11:59 PM EST that following Sunday! We also encourage members to post threads relating to the event on the dash, as well.
We ask that all current threads and interactions not pertaining to the event be held off from Friday until Sunday. Feel free to post any and all edits pertaining to the event, as well! If you are posting starters, be sure to tag them as #uwfmstarter as well as #uwfmevent:002 !
