UYIR finally released!

After 1 and a half years of work, I’ve decided to close the chapter on this project and release my 3D animated short film “UYIR”! I’ve learnt so much about filmmaking, animation, character development and storytelling in this project and will be happy to share with you guys some helpful tips on this blog and on ThilakanathanStudios.com! :)

UYIR is a story about a loving and peaceful grandfather and his granddaughter and how things go horribly wrong. An emotional film which is close to my heart as it is sorta kinda based on a true story. I hope this film communicates a good message about a real issue :)

I used Blender to make this whole film (with a bit of GIMP for some of the textures). I bought some royalty-free music for the background so I won’t take credit for the music, lol.
