Pred kraj XIX veka stalni putnik, na konju, bio je poštar Andrija Dabo koji je nosio poštu na relaciji Užice-Čajetina:
"Gledam ga kao na javi... On na putu... Namerno rastrbljen, a pod oružjem. Onako krupan kao orlušina natkrilio gojaznog, sitnog bidžana. Očima seče žešće od jatagana iz dotrajalog, kožnog silava..."
