Uzumasa: A Town of Spirits
This is just my personal perception, but I truly believe Uzumasa is a town of spirits.
Spirits are pure, sacred energy—completely free of human elements. However, the shrines I usually share a deep connection with belong to the Jingū (Ise-related) lineage. Because of this difference in vibration, I initially felt a strange sense of friction or misalignment.
Of course, everyone is different. Some people might be deeply aligned with spirit-type energies right from the start, completely opposite to me. It really depends on the individual.
I wasn’t used to this kind of elemental spirit energy, but I am incredibly grateful for this experience. It felt like a powerful opportunity for "integration"—allowing me to absorb and integrate frequencies completely outside of my usual energetic blueprint.
The night I returned home to Tokyo, after I had been asleep for a little while, spirits appeared in my dreams. I woke up startled, but the spirits I had imagined were showing up one after another, all smiling warmly.
In terms of Yin and Yang, I have a very strong "Yang" constitution, which means I can rarely sleep well when staying in unfamiliar places or using a different pillow. Because of this, it was only after returning to the safety of my own home and finally falling into a deep, peaceful sleep that all these spirits rushed into my dream at once.
I suspect that while I was at the hotel in Kyoto, I was so utterly exhausted—both physically and energetically—that my system simply couldn't establish the connection.
As an empath, I unconsciously absorb all kinds of environmental energies. Therefore, absorbing a frequency that is entirely unfamiliar to your body takes an immense toll. This is exactly why I get incredibly tense and physically stiff whenever I visit a new place for the first time; my body is working overtime to recalibrate and process the unfamiliar energy.
It’s a lot like that temporary brain fog and drowsiness you feel right after eating a heavy meal. For me, because I absorb these frequencies with my entire body, it manifests as physical symptoms like stiff shoulders, muscle aches, and general fatigue. That’s why pacing myself and taking it slow is always the best approach. This kind of energetic adjustment varies greatly from person to person.
What’s fascinating is that when I visit a place that aligns perfectly with the zodiac signs of my personal natal planets, I don't experience this fatigue at all. Instead, I feel instantly grounded. Even if it's a place I’ve never been to before, my shoulder tension vanishes, and my system automatically drops into a relaxed, effortless mode. It’s such a blessing.
This is why I find it so helpful to look at resources like YUJI-san’s articles on note, where he maps out the energetic vibes of different regions in Japan by zodiac sign, or various books on sacred shrines. When I actually visit these places based on those insights, I can profoundly feel and validate those exact astrological frequencies.
I deeply trust articles and books written by people who share this exact type of sensory, physical perception. Since it's all about raw energetic perception, whether you feel it or not is highly individual. Energy is invisible to the eye, but it absolutely, factually exists.
I am so filled with gratitude for the spirits and the land energy of Uzumasa. I feel like we truly connected and became friends.
What makes this even more incredible is that this entire experience is perfectly reflected in my current Transits x Natal chart. It’s absolutely mind-blowing. When I felt a pull to look up my chart, everything clicked into place.
Understanding astrology is honestly such a living, breathing tool. It allows us to analyze and make sense of exactly what is happening within and around us in the present moment.
Looking ahead, I strongly feel that after the Summer Solstice, the timeline where we actively dictate and choose our own reality will become much more prominent.
It’s all about focusing entirely on how you want to embody your existence.
If things you don't desire keep showing up in your life, stop feeding them your attention. Instead, pivot and pour your consciousness entirely into what you truly desire.
Therefore, always check in with yourself:
What am I thinking right now?
Where am I directing my consciousness?
How do I want to embody my reality?
Never skip this inner alignment check. Keep a loving, steady eye on your own internal state. This is the absolute key to shifting your reality into the timeline you desire.
Humans are not perfect.
We came into this world to experience a vast multitude of things.
When you look at life through that lens, anything goes—and suddenly, doesn't it feel like you can achieve whatever you set your mind to?
