Legundo spent the majority of his time as a vampire perching on rooftops and brooding about his dark past and all the people he’s killed and how much of a monster he is. Like sire like fledgeling.

He couldn’t fix him💔💔
Based off of an actual dream i had. The "saying" that Abolish said in the dream isn't a real one as far as i know. i imagine that it's meant to be a sarcastic response to someone else's erratic behavior that means something like, "if you're going to behave crazy then you might as well do something else equally insane (like marrying everyone)"
In the dream the aromantic flag legitimately faded in behind him like it was some sort of gif. I thought about doing that myself but decided it was too much work.
Maybe this is the real reason Legundo's eyes are green, because he's aro /j
Avid was a tragedy because he didn't get to grow and find his identity, his chance to make choices were cut short.
Pyro was a tragedy because he let other people's perceptions of him shape who he became and never made the choice for himself.
Owen was a tragedy because he chose to stay hurt and stuck in the past rather than changing, because moving on meant losing Louis.
Legs was a tragedy because he didn't think that choosing to be good right now mattered after all the monstrous choices he'd made before.
Martyn was a tragedy because no amount of choices would have changed his fate, he was doomed from the bridge.
Ren was a tragedy because his choice to change and trust the vampires was such an accidental disaster that it convinced him that change was wrong.
--
Cleo was a triumph because she chose peace and chose love over revenge, she could have killed all the vampires for what vampires had done to her but she didn't and she made it out.
Pearl was a triumph because she chose to stick to her morals and give everyone else the choice to be better too.
Shelby was a triumph because even after killing Pyro, she didn't keep going down the path of revenge and instead chose to walk away.
Scott was a triumph because he chose to care and let the hard shell of eternal apathy crack and grieve and grow.
Drift was a triumph because she chose to be brave, to take charge of her destiny and stand up for herself.
Apo was a triumph because even though everything she tried to do failed, over and over again, she still chose humanity and the town.
Abolish was a triumph because he didn't have to do paperwork.
Sausage was. Sausage.
Quick post the Old Man Yaoi before they are even more divorced (or worse)
“Owen would be a smoker” lol. Lmao, even.
That man would take one puff of a cigarette and between one blink and the next he goes from standing to family guy death posing on the floor.
The Doc on the other hand is definitely a smoker. His ass was chain smoking in the trenches like it was nobody’s business. It’s the one thing that kept his hands steady while he lined up his shots or stitched up a soldier’s guts. He began weaning himself off in medical school (picture here a pre-med legs leaned over a book late at night, cigarette in his mouth and hand in his hair. You’re welcome.) before quitting entirely after getting his degree.
(He picks it back up when he begins turning to violence again. I imagine he walks up to Abolish or Cleo, exhausted from fighting or bloody from his turning, and simply asks, “you got a cigarette?” They silently hand him one, he takes a drag, and the shakes stop. He hates himself a little more for it.)
